After a journey of over 70 hours, the four tigers arrived at our LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary and our team was relieved to see how well they have managed this long trip. ✈️
Take a look at the special first moments of the big cats stepping onto the grass in South Africa and watch them bravely explore their new home. We are so proud of Messi, Sandro, Mafalda, and Gustavo - words can’t describe the emotions we all feel after this successful rescue mission! 💚

I have no word to express my appreciation for transporting 4 TIGERS from Argentina to S. Africa. This is so wonderful and I hope the tigers will adapt in this new environment which is so much better. God knows how many cases similar with this one are and animals are objects of human cruelty. Bless you Four Paws team.

Yes, this is true. But they do not belong to Argentina. Some crazy people took these tigers, probably for a circus, and abandoned them in a train, in the middle of nowhere, in Argentina. What to do in this case. Probably in Asia they would kill them to prepare some medicine from their bones, skins and other organs as it is the situation in many cases. The tigers do not deserve such a fate. It was a great luck to be transported in S. Africa in this sanctuary. We have to be grateful to 4 Paws for this.@@unwoke1652

@@unwoke1652 okay, then find them a suitable sanctuary space in Asia, then come back.. Lion's Rock South Africa has many non native species that do not belong in Africa period, but they do belong in suitable captive situations were they can feel far more free and truly be the wild animals they are.

This is so amazing and what amazing work Four paws does, thank-you to all who rescued these tigers!!!! So much is put into this and what an epic journey, it just saddens me that there are not more people watching and supporting the channel. This channel should have millions of subscribers and views but sadly people would rather watch mindless videos. Keep up the great work Four Paws!!!!❤❤❤❤

Finally a life worth living. So sad that the Tiger's had to endure much cruelty and long year's in what was effectively a prison! They have done nothing wrong. They deserve respect as all our fellow wild inhabitants of Planet Earth do. Well done Four Paws and the people who made the Tiger's lives worth living again. 👍🇬🇧🌹

@@irenedavo3768 That comment alone show your lack of knowledge.. the animals belong in a safe captive environment period, it does not matter that they are not native to Africa, as they will NEVER be a part of their wild environment anyways and have never had the experiences there, meaning ANYWHERE in the world can be home to them.

it's just amazing how long these tigers survived in a cage.. I was very happy to donate, but I am even more happy to see the task that has been accepted and accomplished here. I've been following this story for months and I'm just happy and grateful that four paws is doing such a great job! Please never stop! It is somewhat odd indeed, however I am certain that if there was such a sanctuary in their land of origin, they would have been brought there. The environmental and climate conditions in South Africa, though not the same, are similar enough with the ones in their land of origin. Since they have probably never known the circumstances there, I suppose this is the next best, right?🐅🥹

Dear AboveItAll, based on the current regulations in Argentina, all big cats should live in natural reserves but there is currently no existing facility that can fulfil these legal requirements. Furthermore, tigers are not native species in South America either. FOUR PAWS can provide the closest to the tigers´ species-appropriate environment at Lionsrock. The FOUR PAWS sanctuary already provides home for other rescued tigers. Thank you for your interest! Best, the FOUR PAWS team

OMG !! I’m soo HAPPY for those Tigers !! Finally, they’re at their new home !! It almost made me cry watching each Tiger make their way out of the crates into their new homes !! Absolutely the most beautiful animal on this planet. This was first view of what Four Paws does. Just watching these amazing cats brought tears to my eyes. I wept. Forever grateful for this rescue. I am so glad they arrived safely and they already have amazing enclosures! Their first steps were so emotional. Poor things. Big cats are such magnificent creatures! They should be worshiped, admired from afar and protected in the wild. Not abused, bitten and treated like toys and like some rubbish discarded. Thanks to organisations like Four Paws and thousands of people all over the globe we can all fix those wrongs and save precious lives. THANK YOU to all! donated towards their care...xoxoxo

Because they were kept like this in the train wagons also!! It’s not so easy to communize and socialize wild animals, especially Tigers are usually loners!! They only really now the other cat which was in the same enclosure/wagon!!
