video did work for es44ac but it did not work for detailed models like i tried to reskin up sd70ace into my LL colors is it ok you can show us how to reskin detailed jr locomotives

Can you teach us how to make blank maps with the newer JR models like the SD70M? The Bump map method you showed in this video does not work with those.

Whenever I open the bump map of any locomotive, it just looks really funky, is there a way to fix this? It doesn't look the same as the one in the video.

What do you mean? If it is purple then you will need a older version of paint.net to be able to open the bump map properly. But with some Jr engines you can not make a blank map out of due to the fact of how the model is made. But if your doing it on a engine such as the KCS ES44AC, or the older JR sd40-2s you should be good to go.

@@NotGavin yea you will have to use the way back machine and get a older version of paint.net maybe from 2016-2017 new versions of paint.net makes it where you cant really mess around with the bump map
