Yeah, bit like Fanatec and Sim Racing Girl, where is she now eh? At least this one is actually qualified for the task and seems to be a very smart and capable person.
Going to buy Track Racer TR160 rig Been contemplating between TR160 and SimLab P1 X for some time now as I want to mount my NLR Motion Platform V3 to the rig but always seem to go towards Track Racer TR160
@@TrakracerAu If you get all the parts. I've had mine for two weeks and can't finish the build because I'm missing a caster wheel and some nuts and bolts. Have contacted support multiple times and can't get anyone to send me the parts that I'm missing. Very frustrating when you drop this kind of money on a rig and can't get any customer service. 😒
So im ready to pull the trigger this week on a either a GT Omega Prime, This TR160, An extremesimracing P1 3.0, or possibly a PX-1 (but im in the US so shipping and the fact I still have to buy a seat) are factors. Trak Racer charging $200 for shipping so after adding that in, that makes the TR160 the most expensive out of the bunch. I guess what sets this apart from the others? The PX-1 seems to have top notch reviews from everything I have read through so I feel the quality is there on that one. The Omega Prime had some iffy reviews at launch but they seem to have fixed any of the the minor pedal flex and quality control issues from some of the early reviews where creators got a pre production model. Id be mounting Fanatec DD2 and CS pedals. They all seem to support them no problem. They all have the same 80/20 builds (except for the extremesimracing). What sets the TR160 apart from the others I mentioned? Seats are the other big factor for me. Id like to get one with the order but I'm willing to buy my own and each will sell options with no seat. Comfort is high on my list and that may be the one shortcoming of the Prime cockpit from what I've read. So I guess I'm looking to see what sets this build apart? The TR160 is just over $500 dollars more expensive (Model with a seat) than the Prime. Thats a pretty big gap. The PX-1 is roughly $1100-1200 after I buy a ~250-300 dollars seat to go with it. Sell me on this. Thanks for the video!
GT Omega is cheaper for lots of reasons that help us sell a lot of spare parts and accessories to their customers. Including our stronger pedal deck, wheel deck, brackets etc. We also use thicker aluminium compared to 2 other models you listed - photos available upon request of all 3 models. Take a look at what the TR160 includes. The heaviest duty brackets in the industry, we include seat brackets, the best-designed pedal deck with pre-drilled mounting holes and shifter mount, we also include seat slider, leveling feet, coloured strips, assembly tools and much more. The TR160 ships from Texas and is $899 plus $80 shipping. For price go gt omega. For quality go TR160 or P1X. PS never heard of extremesimracing
So just a p1x with a pedal tray that DOES flex my friend has it everyone spend the extra on Sim labs P1X because this is just a ripped of cheaper version. Tbe P1X HAVE ZeroFlex in the pedal tray where this one you need to spend another £50 shipping to get the best pedal tray they make so all in its no cheaper and not as good BUT i own trakracer inverted pedal mount and had a missing support bar which they fixed by sending me a whole new kit free of charge and told to keep the other one so customer service was amazing. I have a free inverted pedal mount anyone can collect because it is so heavy. im in west midlans uk
I can see how you might think it's the same as P1X. Our TR160 uses the same size profile, thats pretty much it. We do however, upgrade the rig with much better corner brackets, we include seat brackets, seat slider, gear shifter mount, levelling feet, pre-drilled holes for pedals and more. The latest pedal plate does not move at all and has more adjustment compared to P1X and also we add . The superseded pedal plate does NOT move for 99.5% of TR160 customers. If your friend actually does have flex with our pedal plate, tell him to contact us for a free replacement. All things considered, we offer the best value for money simulators which forces our competition to be competitive, the winner is the customer. Take a look at the price of the P1X before we launched our TR160 and I think you'll find we've made a massive difference to keep more money in customer's pockets.
