I e tried 3 different packs from Trakke. I really wish their packs worked for me but their harness systems are uncomfortable and shoulder straps way too short. I do like their material choices though.
Thank you so much for sharing!! The Isle of Skye is definitely on my photo / trekking bucket list so will make sure to stop by when I make it to Scotland!!!
Great review. Very fair on its positives and drawbacks. I also love the silhouette of this bag too. It's very pleasing the eye and maximises the capacity it does have without being boxy like a Goruck. Is that Trakke logo on the front a removable patch or stitched in like they usually have it?
I saw their nice looking Portobello laptop briefcase, but still can't find any review of that bag online. If you can get your hand on it, it would be great.
When is the CPL review coming out? I’m currently trying to decide between the griffin, ecopak & regular 😅 I also have the chz22 v1+v2, CTB26 and 35, mpl22 and cpl 24 v1 (which is falling apart from use).
I got a question that might be an idea for a video. I need a stylish salaryman bag recommendation. I know in Japan anything goes with a suit, but but I wouldn't wat to just get a normal backpack, something more stylish would be nice (and being foreign I think I have more leeway to use something that stands out a bit more). At the same time I'm discarting briefcases and messengers because I would like to use a backpack when business traveling (for 1 day trips or as a secondary backpack with a roller) and I use a bicycle to go to work. Laptop compartment and some space to fit a bento (12cm width) would be nice. I have been eyeing the Bellroy Via Workpack but the space for the bento might be too tight. Transit workpack line maybe? Any recommendation that you would think would look "professional"?
You should be carful not to anger the glaswegians pronouncing Glasgow like that ahahh. Good review if it had come out a few weeks earlier i might have chosen it over the CPP. Also, "Stor/storr/stór" means large in most Nordic languages today, and considering the Vikings influence in Scotland its clear where its origin is from.
Ahahahah I am sure I must have slaughtered the pronunciation. How are you supposed to say it? And thanks for letting me know about Stor/Storr and its commonality across most Nordic languages - I learned something new today!!! :)
You know, I wasn't going to do one because I figured the time of the Sharky had come/gone a while back and everyone who wanted one had already copped one. But then by chance I saw that there were a few sharkys back in stock on the bedouin foundry website a couple of weeks ago and now it's got me thinking about maybe doing one...
