This film features vintage trams in action from the Tram Day held at Crich Tramway Village in September 2016.
In spite of the wet weather there was plenty of tramway action with an intensive tram service in operation. There were also photographic opportunities with trams posed on the depot fan and other locations.
It was the last chance to see Porto Coal Car 65 at Crich before its handover to Beamish and this was on display all day with various other works cars rarely seen.
The trams in operation included Oporto 273, Leeds 180, Leeds 399, Leeds 345, Chesterfield 7, Blackpool 167, LUT 159, MET 331, LCC 106, Blackpool 166, Blackpool 236, Blackpool 762, Blackpool Standard 40, Glasgow 1068, Liverpool 869, Sheffield 510 and London 1622, Berlin 223 006-4 plus Cardiff 131 and the Blackpool Locomotive .
