if i had to choose, probably the second drop around 2:02 where the sub drops out, but that's just one part that stood out to me, i'd much rather say the whole track is my "favorite part" xD
I liked the song, it’s so powerful, and for my lifts it hypes me up super easy. But, the only things that I don’t like about recent dubstep tracks is that they’re too short! I wish it could have a little bit more of buildup before the second drop. I like it, but it is too short. What dubstep tracks need nowadays is the same soul that they use to have in past years
Here are my thoughts on the track. The intro was definitely my favorite part, the atmosphere was just amazing. The drops were really good, the variety of ideas made it especially fun to listen to. I feel like the sounds in the drop were good, but somewhat generic, but that's just me. The midsection and ending were also really good, but not quite as good as the first part. And also, like you mentioned, the song was somewhat short, I especially think the first drop could have been expanded. Overall, I really enjoyed the song. Great video, the live reviews are always fun :)
Maybe generic wasn't the right word,I just meant it sounded somewhat similar to other stuff. That was sort of a nitpick anyway, that wasn't a major point.
This all makes sense, I think more than most tracks I can see why someone may not feel it that much coz it's quite similar to other material of that style, but when Marauda does I just think it delivers in those slightly different ways every time. Too true about the midsection, or lack of it thereof. Glad you enjoyed :)
Yeah man, I didn't find it like generic. But I did kinda wish they used different sounds other than sticking with Marauda's metallic stabs. At the same time, Trampa's fills keep it interesting and keeps it bouncey. I do really appreciate how they support each other in the collab and it holds it up. I do also wish for a 3rd drop where it flips upside down and gets put into Trampa's hands a bit more, that would've been SIIIICK.
Personally I do quite like this, being one of my favourite Marauda drops. However, I really can't properly enjoy this track. Its way too short for me to properly get into, and really feel like I've had an experience with it. Personally I feel there needs to be at least another one or two drops in there, or the drops need to be longer. Also I feel there needs to be more to build up, and bridge the track. Like maybe some kind of orchestral piece would do the drop more justice (this isnt really a necessary issue, I just like orchestral intros lol)
Yeah I feel that man, it is quite the brief cut, could definitely have done with more in the middle part of the track. Shame it's stopping you from enjoying it generally 😕
Nabiel Aditya as if I’ve just put this video together and that’s all you can say 😔 don’t know how many times I have to say it I don’t listen to IDs. Ever.
@@nabieladitya2279 Nah it's okay, just thought I should make my stance clear :) unfortunately IDs have really ruined my enjoyment of whole songs in the past, and so I've had to do with not listening to them again coz really was affecting my relationship with the music for the worse. And I feel it deserves more respect than that from my end
I don't understand why you say it's so fresh and contains so much variety on the drops. The main bass is doing the same all the time, yes, sometimes it does some fancy thing for a second, but for me it feels pretty much repetitive, without anything new really during the song. I just don't get it. I mean, yes, there were things I didn't expect as you say, but regardless, it feels the same once I've listened more than once. Can someone explain me where is the variation? I just want to understand it, with all honesty
Tbh I'm yet to listen to it on headphones, could be a different experience altogether, but listening to it in the moment there it definitely felt like they kept it varied enough when it could so easily have been extremely repetitive. The samples dropped in, changes in pace, moments of surprise, all that kinda stuff. The feel may be same-y throughout the heaviness, but I think there's a lot of clever sound/note placement that ensures it is, overall, pretty varied on that front. Especially considering it's a collaboration, which can be very hard to do but I think gave it enough of a spontaneous, off the wall feel. Basically, I didn't find it predictable on first listen and still don't. Hope this makes sense :)
Nice dancing! It's one of he most perfect and well combined collaborations I've ever heard, it's so natural And blend but yeah, the bridge is to short imo
I like the track but those 2 could've done a much much better job. They did it because people wanted them to and then it turned out mediocre. I wouldn't be bothered by the length of it if the track was amazing, which to me it isn't. I enjoy it but I'm disappointed because it seems they didn't put in enough work. They are also both producers who I love listening to but I'm getting more and more tired of the recycled sounds. Maybe they were rushed idk. Also I think that Badklaat's and Kompany's 'Purge' turned out a lot better as a 'long-awaited collab'.
Mixing is weak. Your voice is overpowering the song itself. Maybe fix that for the future? But the song itself, yeah...I'm mixed on it. I like it, but it's far too short for my liking.
Don't really get what you're saying. As soon as Marauda - one of the biggest producers in Dubstep today - announced him and Trampa (his no.1 inspiration) were working on a track together, people were gagging for it to be released. Don't know how you've managed to miss that hype, but people haven't stopped talking about it. But yeah I'm fine thanks
