Trams of Firenze (Florence), Italy 

Tram operations in the Italian city of Firenze (Florence), filmed at various inner city locations on 31 December 2023.
This film was shot using my standard ‘travel rig’, comprising a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera (the original version) coupled with a Lumix 12-35 lens. A Rode VideoMicro microphone was used to capture audio and a Smart HD Focus 5 external monitor assisted with accurately seeing what the camera was seeing. The rig was mounted on a small Promaster travel tripod, which in turn was mounted on suitable street furniture where available (e.g., seats, bollards, tops of walls); otherwise, it was placed on the ground on a suitable flat and/or firm surface. As with any camera setup, this rig involves a number of compromises, but it makes capturing video footage while travelling away from home feasible and achievable without having to accommodate too many unwelcome limitations.
