Excellent performance, should have had the game dead and buried by half time. Hayden was immense in defence and we looked so much stronger at the back with his return. Barnett also played exceptionally.
We have a great set of physical players now. But the speed from Lee and Barnett are stand-outs in transition and attack. Both have to shoot more without Mullin back yet.
Loved that performance quality from the start dominated the ball in midfield just a shame we couldn’t get more wins a win tho an also James mclean deserves a massive praise been quality since he come in 🏴🔴⚪️
Hell yes . I been screaming this since he got here. We need to have him in there. He is such a driving force McLean and Lee were the game today. Good game complete game today but we should have done a lot better against Tranmere. The only bummer is is we still or one-sided in attack long ball up and everything comes from the left. We have no creativity or fluidity of movement through the midfield and right side. If you look at other teams when they come against us, they're constantly passing and moving shifting creating plays through the middle of the field and it drives us back. We don't have that and that's something we need and I think it would open up teams more and we'd be doing a lot better than we are. Just an observation but that was a sorely needed win. Keep up the great vlogs Liam amazing!

Wonderful blog again Liam. Love seeing the pre and post game match stuff. Thanks. Also your video shows the great run by Dalby during that corner, that took away two defenders, and completely clearing the area for Hayden. That wasn't on the video from the game. A great Parky set piece drawn up play. Hayden on corners is such a weapon, and he played fantastic in defence today.

To be honest they weren’t the loudest, they played terrible so I can imagine that had some effect on the home atmosphere, in previous years they’ve been quality at the Racecourse
Great win and most importantly a clean sheet, not getting Armstrong is not the end of the world, we are still scoring and once Mullin is back the goals will increase. We needed to shore up the defence and we have done that. It looks like Howard isn’t going to give up the No1 Shirt without a fight, all in all a happy Saturday👍🇬🇧
