In the past decade Japanese anime has really been blowing Disney and Pixar out of the water in terms of depth of story, characters, visuals and overall animation, musical score and songs.
Because writers in JP still have critical thinking skills and are not the same brainwashed useful iword with psychosis, believing Hegel's self-righteous idea of social progression.
Lol in the West Imperial side of this show will be demonized as space moustache men and the whole show will only revolve around white guy bad. And you wonder why the entertainment industries in the West has turned to shit.
"In the past decade" you forgot a 3+ in front of the "decade(s)". Anime are better at every single category (comparing the best of course from each because there are many trash anime out there). The best from anything else is at best an 8/10 compared to the best anime.
@@ap586 nZk is actually an inside Sawano joke. Basically Sawano's friends came up with the name since he goes through a personality change when he's drunk. So he becomes "nozawa-kai"(nozawa king) which is "Sawano" read backwards in Japanese. So the "nZk" name just stuck
Just finished the original LOGH and this would actually be really fitting for the ending. I'll probably end up watching the remake someday, the OST is insane
Sawano-san is one of the best pianist who can write so many songs that gives people so many feelings at a time, epicness, thrilling and exciting, as well as the ambient level power
Tranquility by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Anly Lyrics: It only takes one lone soul It only takes one in a thousand The absence of fear in your eyes No, that's not bravery As children we learn it's wrong to put out the light of another Our innocence lost over time Means to an end It's hard to hold your head up high But we must try Sway together in the dark It's supposed to be Cos I want to know the end and you never ever need to fight But you're fighting everyday And I don't know when your light will go out Innocent crying child The heart of your enemy My heart to heart with the light and we always get along Counting the stars in the sky thinking why they have to die Just face to face we can hear a voice telling us it's wrong Counting the stars in the sky It was like a lullaby For sunsets I'll break the rules We learnt playing down in the heather The secrets behind all the veils We just use other words For freedom we make our charge For friendship we bear down on others Can't one of you just calculate Tranquility? It's hard to hold your head up high But we must try Sway together in the dark It's supposed to be Cos I want to know the end and you never ever need to fight But you're fighting everyday And I don't know when your light will go out Innocent crying child The heart of your enemy Sway together in the dark It's supposed to be Cos I want to know the end and you never ever need to fight But you're fighting everyday And I don't know when your light will go out Innocent crying child The heart of your enemy My heart to heart with the light and we always get along Counting the stars in the sky thinking why they have to die Just face to face we can hear a voice telling us it's wrong Counting the stars in the sky It was like a lullaby
@SeeASquaRE Thank you for uploading this magnificence, bro-- Sawana has been my one of my favourite musicians in the world for a few years now-- the man is phenomenal...and mad props to some of his incredibly talented vocalists who always give me the wonderful goosies: Anly, Aimer , Akihito, Mizuki, Tielle, Kaka, Aimee and Takanori Nishikawa (another legend himself)
Does anyone else cry listening to this? A lot of his pieces portray the same message about life, death and mainly the living that takes place in between. He often questions those concepts but this one in particular seemed to concentrate on the innocence that is destroyed in that endeavor. But the song sings as if to bring all of that back before the light is extinguished. and its so bittersweet that one can focus on something most of the world considers trivial. Sawano, I can see your soul, and it is beautiful.
When I hear this song I only remember a phrase of Legend of the Galactic Heroes Die Neue These: "war usually starts under the idea that a cause is more valuable than human life and usually ends under the idea that human life is more valuable than any cause" Yang Wen-li
Listening to the version of the song always makes my eyes water in the middle of driving to work. It's due to the violins playing in the background. Check it out when you have time. Love the pfp of Max btw. ☺️
when i first found this song back in 2019, it made me wander even more about the world, life, existence in general and what purpose we serve outside of our own personal givings. i remember the words piercing my heart with how honest they are. its like it was meant for me to hear it. i needed this song and its message to ignite something in me that i was losing sight of in that time. i had been a fan of sawano music for awhile before this song hit the airwaves and i just knew it was gonna be one of my all time favorites. i have every version on my spotify playlist and never fails to lift me up and inspire. finding out that it was an ending to legend of the galactic heroes made every episode so much more intense and made the show much more enjoyable for me seeing how the song resonated with some of the themes of the story and the characters at the time too.
The use of this song during reinhard’s visit to kirscheis grave was absolutely perfectly executed. Especially emphasizing the cello parts of the song during that moment. Still makes me misty eyed every time.
@@DanielDelight2004 "In every ages recorded in history. In every places we lived in. The *deeds of men, whether it be good or evil remains the same* ..."
Of all the hiroyuki sawano song that i have heard this one is my outmost favorite. I never had a song from him that i played over and over and over and over again and never get bored.
"But you're fighting everyday And I don't know when your light will go out" For every people outside there who fighting everyday for your life. I love you *Don't stop fighting lol
This ed is much more depressing than the previous one. Especially looking at Jessica Edwards and her anti-war activism. Man... what a series. The lyrics are truly a perfect tribute to her anti-war ideals. It's as if Jessica was singing this song herself.
To all of you who are listing and watching this may you have a peaceful and beautiful life ahead. Great job! this is one calming and relaxing video, very soothing to the mind & heart.
Yeah, SeeASquaRE... And for more LoGH (Legend of the Galactic Heroes) musical experience, try listen up to the *OP and ED themes 🎵 of the original LOGH OVA* right...😉👍
I sometimes can't believe. His all songs are so amazing. I never ever saw a musician whose all songs I love. How can someone have all his songs so great that I can't stop listening. He is maybe my most beloved musician. And the animes to which these songs belong are wonderful too. Especially My love "Legend of the galactic heroes: Die Neue These". They are like related to stars and space which I also have a huge interest in. That makes his songs even more amazing. But mostly the writing. What his songs are trying to say. And how they describe it.
Heard this song once. Listened to it about 30 more times in the following 2 hours. Currently on my way to watch 86. Because it’s Hiroyuki Sawano. If I was meant to do otherwise, I missed the memo. 🤩🧡
Revy this may be an old comment, but you HAVE to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes. If you liked the space politics and discussions about the nature of war from Gundam, LoGH is on another level and I promise you'll love it.
What I like about Sawano's music is they can be released as a single without you even knowing they were composed as a BACKGROUND music of a conventional TV show. Not many composer can do that, or to be exact I know only 3 other guys.
Hiroyuki Sawano will always be a timeless favorite to many. The depth of his tracks are absolutely captivating. Thank you, Mr. Sawano, for your many years of giving us great music to listen and connect to as well as for the future works you'll bring to life with your music.
I know what you mean! Sawano's instrumental backing track is epic enough in itself (as always), but with Anly's incredibly powerful vocals complementing the track, it got the goosebumps and hairs standing on end! The higher notes she hits are absolutely mind-blowing in terms of power and pitch perfection!!!
I am a new fan to Sawano-sama. Before this i only listen to the song track he made for SNK but now i'll try to listen to all of his masterpiece. His songs always give me this weird vibe i dont know what it is but i like it so much.
Tensai Sawano! Words cannot describe the feeling listening to your music. Goosebumps every time, from the first seconds to the end. Thank you! And Anly, what a voice! Keep it up!

sawano's compositions are always so soothing and amazing. the kind that will make you unconsciously tap your foot/finger with the beat. the fact that he mostly use english lyrics now extremely help ifans to immediately understand the song, and not just soaking through the melody anymore. so thankful for his songs
HiroyukiSawano, the one and only thing I can say about your music is that your music brings life back in to my world. Love your music for ever both you and Hans Zimmer, are the best
I see someone finally understands the relevance of this show and to our current state. It’s just sad that we won’t see the end of this matter even if we live twice.
