Lately, I've been getting a noticeable amount of requests for songs from Bug Fables, a game that just came out last year. The soundtrack is full of bangers, so I've had in mind to eventually do the most requested song from the game: Transcending, Overpowering, Everlasting.
Some have called Bug Fables "the best Paper Mario game since Thousand-Year Door", so if you're a Paper Mario fan, or just a fan of good games, consider picking it up!

@@seanoodles7008 Both are good games in their own regards, but I just have to go with Hollow Knight because of how much polish went into the whole thing. This is probably like the 40th time you’ve heard this, but the graphics of Bug Fables, do bring it down to some extent. Plus, there’s some other questionable game design choices strewn throughout the game. Obviously, none of it is game breaking, and Hollow Knight has its own share of problems. But weighing the two out, I think Hollow Knight does a better job overall (Bug Fables is better with certain things though still, like characters and quality of life)

Bug fables has better writing and the gameplay is way more dynamic, TTYD is held down by being a Mario game so it can’t really challenge the player as much but bug fables can make you experiment with the medal system, the party members are way more fleshed out than TTYD’s partners gameplay wise and story wise, the partners for TTYD only have interesting personalities in their chapters but after that they become overpowered tanks and colorful tools with only some good dialogue. It’s a big downside to having so many partners and only having one speak for Mario at a time. Bug fable party members may be a low amount but allow more strategy and more personality. TTYD has some terrible area design like in chapter four where you have to go through a few essentially hallways about six times or that part in chapter seven where you have to go every where to find a character while bug fables has none of that and the back tracking is short or optional

NO. FREAKING... WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER EXPECTED THIS TO HAPPEN, BUT IT DID! THIS IS THE MOST HYPE IVE EVER BEEN FOR A GAMETAL SONG!!! EDIT: After watching, i have only one complaint, and its a simple nitpick that you used gameplay from the Optional Refight, rather than the Original Fight. Other than that, no complaints, normally, i only listen to a new song a few times simply because they sound similar and it gets boring hearing the same style for a few songs. but *THIS* , this song right here has a different "taste" to it, one that represents the original rather than a remix of the original, while also being a complete banger of a remix and making that loud and clear. this is probably the best Gametal cover yet, and its coincidentally one of my favorite songs right now. good job once again Atma

So glad to see this game getting some attention and hopefully getting more people to play it. Anyone who likes Paper Mario and misses the old games needs to play it. Frankly I think it's even better than the classic Paper Mario games. Great remix, and you're doing the world good by bringing more attention to this absolute masterpiece.

God yes, that's a take I'm completely on board with! It takes the classic Paper Mario formula and refines it into an art form. It's like... I don't know if I can go back to Paper Mario or TTYD after Bug Fables. The combat is more engaging and the characters have more depth to them. This game deserves all the praise those games did and more.

i can tell you as someone who likes to make remixes, it's entirely because there are no MIDIs made of the songs as of now, or not any readily available ones anyway This makes it really hard for anyone who doesn't do remixes that use real instruments Anyone who doesn't know how to play an instrument (or record one) is stuck trying to figure out the notation from scratch

You know what, I know nobody is going to read this, but I need to say it. This cover right here is the sole reason I discovered Bug Fables, and I can't thank you enough. It has become one of, it not, my favorite game of all time, and it's DEFINITELY my favorite Indie game of all time. Its one of the few RPG's I've wanted to see everything in. Every hidden detail, every line of text, all of it fascinates me to no end. It's OST is forever ingrained in my memory. This cover and your cover of MECHA BEE DESTROYER BLASTLORD are some of my most listened songs on this channel. All of this from a song I didn't even bother listening to at first. Thank you for introducing me, and so many others to so many different masterpieces over the years.

Perhaps you meant to say, "Nothing removes it from having taken inspiration from the Paper Mario formula and improving it in certain ways, such as by having three set party members, each with numerous roles they can fulfill due to this game's equivalent to the badge system, encouraging the player to mix and match ways to combine the three characters' abilities and attributes so that each becomes much more powerful than they would be on their own."

Bug Fables is a masterpiece, very happy you decided to remix one of its songs. This song in particular was one that I thought really needed just a little bit of polish. The low-quality horns that played in the original at 00:42 always kinda jarred me a bit. This remix does a great job of taking the spirit of the original song and giving it that professional touch it needed. Well done!

Why are some people getting mad whenever someone tells them to play Bug Fables? Like, yeah, it's a high quality indie game, if you're even a little interested in the game, you should support the developers. It's not like they are forcing it on them, it's just a strong recommendation.

OH MY GOSH YES!!! One of the greatest final boss themes in Indie games right here and that's saying a lot since I tie this with the final battle theme from Shantae and the Pirate's Curse!!
