It makes a real difference when you have a well-behaved and pleasant child travelling on the bus. Just listening to the young boy who is chatting away nicely with who I take is his father. As the bus is stuck in the traffic going into Colne.

Nice to see the ex Burnley Geminis put through their paces on Dalesway. A few months ago, Transdev Keighley had a demostrator Envrio 400 MMC on Dalesway which may become the replacement for the Geminis if they decide to invest.

Transdev are likely to be on a tight budget in the near future, the parent company are trying to rein back spending that had got out of hand on Alex Hornby's watch and was not matched by passenger growth. There will be new electric buses for the Shuttle, Harrogate and Flyer routes funded by Zebra, but unless there's any other financial support for new buses you can expect them to be running the current fleet until the wheels drop off. The Geminis are in good nick and perfectly suitable for this kind of 35-minute journey, so I don't see them being replaced for a long time yet.
