Right now you can Transfer both your FSD and Free Supercharging to a new Tesla! Here's my referral link if you would like to use it (currently adds perk of 3mo Free FSD): ts.la/brandon1054
Ugh...I'm in the same spot. Have an MS 2018 free supercharging, have FSD, and free connection. Car is paid off. Ugh. Decisions. It's the free supercharging that I love.
@@Teslavangelist It's easy to do, I'm scheduling a demo ride in the Model X this weekend. I'm really undecided. I love the newer Model S for the 400 mile rated range, but miss having an SUV for the room. Had SUV's prior to owning a Model S. I do a lot of road trips up and down the East Coast and sometimes to the Mid-west.
@@Teslavangelist The new X is around 335. No where near close to the MS. That's why I'm conflicted if I'm going to buy, which one to get. I love the space of the X but love the range and of course the faster charging compared to what I'm getting with my 2018 MS.
Supercharging speed isn't that great. Just got a new YP. It charges at 250 kW for a little bit. At 50% it is down just over 100 kW. But that's only if the station has capacity., Don't get me wrong, it's pretty good but it's not that much better than what your car does. On road trips it is still not fast enough to just sit there and wait. But it is also not long enough to get a real sit down meal. It's right in the middle. Honestly, if I plan an actual meal stop on a road trip I'd pick a V2 supercharger to give me enough time.
@@Teslavangelist I have no idea. I bought it in October last year. I assume it's 4860. I had a rental Model 3 for LFP batteries. Holy moly that thing charges fast and it stays fast all the way to the end. But of course it has far less range.
