Thanks for this tutorial Stephy! Will refer back to this many times. Not able to figure this out but wondering if someone here may know: I want to model cloth elements (in my case a stitched loop, like the ones you see on buckles) in Marvelous Designer and then export them to C4D as OBJ. Then I want to apply C4D cloth dynamics to that mesh. Once I hit play, the garment I created in MD, unfortunately, disintegrates into its components, as if all faces are not connected. Now I have no idea why this is the case. Has someone had success with exporting MD meshes to C4D and then animating them with C4D dynamics? If yes, what are the export settings? How do you stitch the garment for it to remain its integrity in c4d?

Hello, I struggle with a problem, first my UVs are noot in one set, which mean that my pant is in one UV set my shirt in another one etc. And if I do your technic, the different set are applying on each part : the tee shirt set is applying on the pant and tee shirt UV same for the pant, so everything is confusing. And another problem I struggle with is the render. Cause in this tutorial you have shown us the preview but is it the same in the render? For me the render is alway white while the preview is looking good. Also I use to make editable my Alembic so that my different sets can be apply correctly on the selective part of my model.
