I’m sorry I can’t remember! It was 4 years ago. However, with the help of Mr Hegarty I passed my GCSE maths exams with flying colours. Keep going everyone! No matter how much you struggle with maths (as I do) as long as you keep practicing and forcing yourself to watch the videos you WILL pass 100%!
@@browncoatsforever5137 I’m about to do my exams on May 2021 I do igcses btw and I have 4 months left. When do you think is the best time for me to start practicing past papers ? Thank u
@@roseanne9020 I think I left the practice papers very soon (a couple of weeks) before the exams so it was fresh in my mind. I did as many as I could and timed myself. It was absolutely a valuable thing to do and worth doing as it really helped me feel prepared and calm during the exams. Just keep training and watching videos every single day until you’re ready for all the practice papers. I think you’ll be very reassured after doing the practice papers. They helped me learn from my mistakes and pinpoint weaknesses as well! I made flashcards of all the questions I got wrong and it was a huge help! But I do remember being really intimidated by the practice papers but feeling much better and pleasantly surprised after I got stuck in! 😁
02:30 My gut feeling is that if you don't realise at this point that the area would be 4x greater, you are moving too fast. I don't think I'm being too hard in saying that area calculation is quite a basic concept. You should really know these things inside-out before looking into transformations. Back in school, we would develop a solid understanding of the basics before build upon them. I cannot stress enough the importance of doing so, in whatever you set out to master.
Oceani Hiya - thanks loads!!! A favour to ask....Any chance you could spare 30 secs to vote for HegartyMaths in this Richard Branson competition which ends in a few days. Would mean a lot to me and HegartyMaths. www.virginmediabusiness.co.uk/pitch-to-rich/start-up/hegartymaths/ Thanks Mr H
