I've try to create a compilation with the cleanest transformation's sound and all the scenes with "Cybertronian Language". Wich video dimension do you prefer? This one or wide screen?
@@sukottotsukeshi. most of it can be done with a vst synth like serum, post processing such as a fx, and some resampling. It’s a ton of fun and there are endless possibilities of sound design

1:17 gotta love that blackout's strange sound when he starts/finishes transforming. it is also present in his first transformation at the beginning of the movie.
Right? It's like a terror sound. I would love to see an even "darker" version of the movies where humans have to run even more of deceptions like Blackout. His sound design would be awesome for suspense moments

@@outrundoubtrun-lemonadeart682 yeah. The reason I say they sound the same (universe wise) is cuz their the same species! And I don’t get why they put clips of like starscream and megatron. Their gonna make the same sounds because it’s them!! Why would they sound different each film?

The sound design of these movies were on point, I love how most Transformers have their own unique transformation and weapon sounds, and the concept of cybertronians speaking their own language was always a concept that I loved. It’s things like these, coupled with the unique design aesthetic of the Transformers that keep me loving these movies, whilst sad at the same time that there was so much wasted potential to create such a great series of movies with interesting characters and great stories and lore. (...that or just my immense nostalgia)
That's why the tf1 and tf3 are the best bayverse film it was a genuis idea to make them alien/bionocle like and having their own language but damn that language is badass
Something I’ve always loved about the sound design of the movies is how many characters have their own unique transforming sound: Megatron’s sharp, heavy three tone clank. Starscream’s sleek “whistling.” The slick electronic beats that Soundwave makes. Bumblebee’s “Thud-thud-thud!” And Lockdown’s cold, metallic thunk with added electronic beeps and buzzing.

What I love about the cybertronian language is that it seems impossible for humans to learn since they seem to use frequencies and sounds that are impossible for humans to replicate
idk about that bc it kind of sounds like Morse code bit more complicated. You could probably learn to understand it, but not to speak it. The hardest part about learning a language is understanding things like metaphors or hyperboles, etc. The fact that they seem to talk very direct in their language(fitting for a robotic race)probably would make it a little easier.
@@AnthonyBlamthony yeah, I meant more in the sense of speaking, that's why I mentioned the sounds and stuff, maybe a human could understand, read and write it, but not speak it, at least not well enough since there are sounds we wouldn't really be able to replicate
@@s0n1cforever Tho there are a few continuities and fanfics that are just straight cursed with the whole transformation thing. Most of the continuities explain by stating that their transformation process is performed automatically by an organ called the "T-Cog", don't know how exactly to word it but let's just say it's as simple as laying down on the ground.
It always baffles me that there is a mind out there so imaginative that it can picture such detailed transformations. From every moving mechanical bits and pieces, like how did someone envision that and animate it? This is why it’s so satisfying to see a Transformer transforms. EDIT: Oh shiet!!! I blew up! Yesssss
I think my favourite of them all is Sideswipe's. The way the Corvette practically disappeared when he went into robot mode. I can't even think how he transforms. It blows my mind tbh.
I love how all transformations are like a homage to the original transform sound, all of them in the three timing noises. CLANK CLANK CLANK. Truly epic
I like how many of these Transformers have unique transformation sounds like Megatron having the iconic three clanks, Starscream having a whistle, Optimus having tire sounds, and so on.
I like how the smaller nimble and "scout" model bots and cons incorporate parkour and breakdancing twists and flips into their transformations. Bee, jazz, and even soundwave does it
3:30 Lockdown's transformation literally sounds like futuristic metal getting mashed around a beat drop Also 1:57 to 2:04 Literally sounds like a dubstep beat drop
0:47 I love how you could see the damage Prime dealt to Megatron in RoTF, usually, his transformations are very quick, but in DoTM, it's very slow, you could even say he's struggling to transform.
@@bobington4938 Agreed with these comments. I like to think that when the front end of his truck form hits the ground like that, it's a representation of Megatron struggling to push himself up off the ground. Kind of like how us humans would, if we were doing push-ups and an arm slipped out from underneath us.
Why Barricade is my favorite Bayverse decepticon: 1:29 1:57 2:04 0:44 4:31 “Do you see this sniper? You will see it again.” And also he has a badass design in general, especially in tlk.
I’m noticing now that every transformation in the bayverse has a sort of 3 clicks during the transformation. That’s like the bayverse version of the OG G1 transformation noise. Real ones will know
When I was in high school, I had a media communications class that had a small section about sound design and my teacher mentioned that the Transformers had some of the best in modern blockbusters. After watching this, I can definitely see why.

It never occurred to me until the movies just what natural cybertronian would sound like. We get various cybertronian writing but I think this is the first time we actually hear cybertronians speak in their native language. It honestly sounds awesome.
I thought I was the only one. Probably my favourite sound effect in the bayverse films. Plus just the idea of the cannon on the ship reloading or changing weapon types or whatever by rotating seemed cool to me
JESUS LOVES YOU ALL AND DESIRES TO GIVE YOU ALL PEACE AND REDEMPTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO TURN AWAY FROM YOUR SINS AND FOLLOW HIM IN ALL YOUR WAYS, HE DIED FOR ALL OUR SINS
I love that every transformer and all their weapons are unique. Megatron's cannons and Starscream's transformation especially. Hell Bumblebee's transformation has been basically consistent across all six movies
I love how every Cybertronian is given a unique transformation sound. I like to think they're an extension of the character's alt mode and personality. Bumblebees has that electrical buzzing, Megatron has that aggressive metal clanging, and Optimus has the breathy air-brake-like sound. I wish more Transformers media gave their characters unique sounds like this.
I really like the one at 1:14 because of how 'cat and mouse' it feels. Blackout arrives menacingly looking around whilst all the soldiers stay hidden knowing that one wrong move can fuck them all up.
@@ryankim0874 Its funny that Devastator was that hardqare demanding due to the fuck ton of polygons that had to be rendered, every gear, everyy fucking bolt and screw. But somehow Micheal Bay and the Design team were like, while you have all that intricate detail, lets give him big ol wreacking balls for testicles. Like what the fuck.
Originally his knuckle dusters were meant to read "protect" and "serve" which would have really solidified his crooked cop aesthetic and been way better as a joke
@@ripleyfuriosa5701 On the final design the other one reads "enslave" to match "punish" to serve as a corruption to "protect and serve" so they weren't too far from that idea lol
The visual and sounds design alone of the transformers in these films are imo 11/10 PHENOMENAL! And I actually find it a particularly interesting detail of how cybertronian communication sometimes sounds like an actual written alphabetical language and sometimes it seems to be the cybernetic equivalent of primitive rhythmic chirps and hums (scene at 3:59 for example) kind of suggesting different dialects or even two different forms of communication entirely.
wish they used more cybertronian language in the later movies. in the previous movies when they spoke like that in their vehicles, it made them more scary
On 4:10 if you listen close enough you can actually hear Blackout saying “All Hail Megatron” except more cybernetic and fast. And on 4:14 it sounds like Starscream is using Optimus’s voice and is saying “the battle has begun”.
JESUS LOVES YOU ALL AND DESIRES TO GIVE YOU ALL PEACE AND REDEMPTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO TURN AWAY FROM YOUR SINS AND FOLLOW HIM IN ALL YOUR WAYS, HE DIED FOR ALL OUR SINS
Something i can give credit to the bayverse is that they made the decepticons seem like actual threats. More jagged and sharp designs, a lot of them either hunched over like animals or straight up inhuman designs, or just absolutely intimidating monsters, and i do adore that for the most part, they gave characters like Megatron and Shockwave alien alternate modes. Also, the fact that they made the base of an entire language and managed to animate the beautiful transformations was beautiful. Now just put that effort into your characters and story and these may actually be amazing movies.
True that, kinda wish the Cons weren't always snarling animals, but props to the movies for giving us actual cybertronian verbal language. And I love the transformation scenes. Never gets old seeing Bee turn from a 16 foot tall robot into a regular car.
Jesus loves you and died a painful death on a cross for our sins so we don't have to be doomed to hell, but instead receive eternal life with him if we choose to turn away from our sins and try our best to follow and obey him, he desires to give you peace and redemption✝️
Due to high speeds of the aircrafts, transforming immediately to humanoid form would cause them to do rolls and acrobatics to cope with the speed. So reducing the speed easily with tires is the deal here.
@@thatoneguy07 A) these are some of the first transformers on Earth, B) Landing straight down is easy, they're landing with momentum and trying to keep moving. C) they're not as strong as someone like Starscream or Megatron who can come to a stop after a transformation from flying fast without any issues.
Ok hands down Starscream is my fav his alien language, his transformation sounds, not to mention his overall design is really cool, even tho he look like a dorito, we still love him (R.I.P)
