@@cardboard8370 First fight is pretty manageable. You get health from the trees and a lot of space. The Cybertron fight is significantly more difficult cause theres no pick ups and you're up against 4 soldiers and a buffed up Blitzwing.
On the part with the bridge, his tank AND jet form can both be out, I freaked out when I saw this, but I later learned how and why. It very complicated but I still don’t like how he can do that.
@@aydenmcmillen7782 Yup. He, bumblebee. Even wheeljack and sideswipe for that matter since its so good to see these characters back in their g1 persona.
Blitzwing was the star of one of the best episodes of G1 and also saved the entire transformer race in the five faces of darkness, and the only reason octane exists instead of blitzwing being in that episode was to sell a new toy.
To clarify, Blitzwing was the one who made a Football coach his lieutenant in "Triple Takeover" and alerted Galvatron and Rodimus to the Quintesson's cybertronian shut off button. In "Starscream's Ghost" and "A thief in the night" Octane is kind of a traitor to the decepticons, which should have been blitzwing because Galvatron kicks him out of the decepticons for helping the autobots.
@@johnzachariahg in transformers animated he had three personalities. Intelligence/ Strategist, Headstrong/ Charger and the last one is completely insane.
@@johnzachariahg in TFA he does; in every other incarnation it's a different kind of personality disorder, depending on continuity it's either something he was born with that allows him to be a triple changer, or it was created by becoming a triple changer
@@niththyramanitharan306 my favourite G1 transformers are Blitzwing, astrotrain and maybe star scream idk it’s a hard choice cause all the transformers are so good.
So here's my observation of this music based on what I saw of Blitzwing in G1: 02:03 - Intro piece to him being a violent, heavy-hitting triple-changer, as is his nature 02:34 - His unpredictable nature, as seen when he tried to usurp Megatron to be the Decepticon leader 03:17 - His slight turnaround when he had no choice but to ally with the Autobots to save Galvatron and the Decepticons from the Quintessons (which is why it sounds both heroic and tragic) 03:48 - The tragedy in that his loyalty to the Decepticons resulted in his banishment from the faction he swore loyalty to
@@yaboiterumi1904 Ehhh, not really. Blitzwing was a generic thug and goon, and his heroism wasn't out of some moral code, but rather to save his fellow Decepticons. If anything, Dreadwing is more like Thundercracker (mainly the IDW comic, as the G1 version had the same character setup but neither the G1 comics or show followed up on that).
PRO TIP: Use the Loudspeaker and Hyper Lightning Sword and Twin Bolt Swords to beat him in... maybe five minutes... on Commander mode... Update!: You can actually catch his missiles if you have Parry, and shoot his ice bombs if you have a shotgun. Oh, and Devastator's Drills and Menasor's Ionizer Sword cuts him into little tiny pieces. You can slice him in like, a minute in a half... on Commander Mode!
Thanks... But i think i might stick to mashing light attack and accasinaly adding some heavy attacks while using the abillity and ult while also loosing all if my health because i make bad life discicions
Also if you're struggling with getting good weapons go to challenge mode misson 49 on commander difficulty or higher and beat it over and over untill you get really good weapons or enough credits to buy one from the shop
Ice Icicle I’m doing Magnus difficultly now and Jesus Christ two hits tops and you’re dead as well as they change the enemy’s placement so literally in the first fight you’re fighting two of the heavy tank dudes.
The boss that got me grinding my teeth when doing Magnus and Prime runs, seriously the man can still do his attacks while in focus mode. Usually when in focus, it stops the enemy from doing their entire attack sequence. But blitzing somehow ignores that, lol. It’s funny too, cause a lot of other enemies with “armour” like Bonecrusher and Long Haul, I’m fine with (even on Magnus and Prime difficulty) Though the heavy weapon soldiers, I tend to get annoyed with too, similar to blitzing, and they’re a common enemy….. Guess with other armoured bosses, their attacks are just easier (in my opinion)
No, it's not definite. I want one, but who knows if TF:Devastation did well enough for Activision to justify a sequel? It was a fantastic game but people don't like that it's full price (though I think it's worth it)
I was reading online that Devastation is apparently one part of a Transformer story told over different mediums (video games, comics, and I think cartoons). So the cliff hanger of Nova Prime waking up is going to be told in a comic or something like that...the article was basically saying there probably won't be a sequel :(
@@coffeetext I actually find his fight pretty boring. dodge, hit while in focus, vehicle attack if you can, dodge as soon as you're out of focus, repeat. But that's probably because I have several hundred hours in the game and all of my characters are maxed out with op weapons.
*"THE NAME IS BLITZWING, INSECT. REMEMBER IT, CUZ IT'S ZE LAST THING YOU HEAR BEFORE--"* _"I EXPRESS MY FEELINGS IN SONG! 🎶 ZE ITSE BITZE SPIDER CRAWLED UP ZE WAUTER SPOUT 🎶"_
I wish we could have seen Astrotrain with blitzwing as they are (as I remember from the original G1 tv show) the only triple changers but it was still cool to have blitzwing and his badass theme song
You know, this makes me wonder why he was running away from Optimus in the animated movie when he's the only normal-sized dude in this game who doesn't get staggered so easily and can grab heads and grind them to the ground before slamming them.
@@nightlypiano4116 Yeah, but the teammates he knocked over were a jet and an oversized bug. Blitzwing is a tank, so both in actual logic and this game's logic, Blitzwing shouldn't even be staggered and thus should have nothing to fear, especially since Space Jesus himself cannot stagger Blitzwing in this game as a truck. But then again, Blitzwing somehow got toppled over when Kup made him shoot an Insecticon and the dude's near-lifeless body knocks him over.
Funny story: the first time I fought Blitzwing near the Plasma Core's crash site, I was entirely saved by Bumblebee's slide and Back attack mechanic. I would wait out Blitzwing's attacks and counter with Bee's unique.
I love blitzwing he is one my favorite characters. But I just hate fighting him sometimes because every time you attack him he just takes the pain. My boi is the transformers version of dbz broly. Like damn bro. But he is my second boss to fight in this game.
Would have loved for devastation 2 to have had a 3v3 between the autobot and decepticon triple changers, imagine fighting blitzwing as springer and in the background astrotrain and broadside are tearing the entire building apart, but sadly devastation 2 doesn’t exist.
I feel as if this theme should've been reserved as the final fight theme between Megatron and Optimus Prime, it just has "your adventure ends here" vibes y'know.
BW and superarmor, makes a button smasher's life hard. Also, going unrelentless melee with Grimlock against Blitzwing is always fun no matter the difficulty. Nothing like pulling a piledriver!
Well, you can still suplex the shit outta of him.. and if I remember right, you can uppercut him in the air if you manage to proc a stun. He seems to have high stun treshold, something like needing to land few stun procs in some 2-3 seconds to pull that. Even then, the stun is JUST long enough to get him to air. Funnily enough, Optimus can suplex too, but only from behind and on stunned/KB'ed foes
Took me 5 tries to beat him in magnus mode. On thi 5th try, i had finally beaten him without losing hp. Did not knew that until the trophy "triple changer" appeared
Don't get me wrong guys, but FOR ME he has like the most relaxed and "soft" theme, so to speak, like at 1:45, I'm just saying, why give one of the most badass and hardcore bosses in the game a soft theme like this one? Again, don't get me wrong, I love it regardless.
I think it's ironic on purpose. He's probably the most unstable Decepticon in terms of fighting style and mentality, so giving him such a relaxing theme paired with the fact that you fight him with a nice sunset in the background is just perfect, to me.
