Transformers Earthrise Voyager Class Starscream Review 

definitely gotta get this guy, I was hesitant on him ever since his reveal but his accuracy to G1 and jet mode are just 🔥

This seems to be a lot like the classics Starscream.

The jet mode is fantastic! But I don't like the robot mode that much. I mean, it's a pretty good looking G1-esque Starscream, but I didn't know the articulation was not as good as his Cybertronian counterpart (which is my favourite of the two). Anyway, thanks for the review, PvP!

Ordered him along with the earthrise Optimus, really excited as he’s the first starscream figure I’ve ever owned

I hope we get an Earthrise Galvatron. I love him, but it wouldn’t work since he has no Earth mode.

Just a reminder that the Studio Series 86 reused this mold for leader class, along with coronation accessories.

I wanna start collecting Earthrise as well as Studio Series since i also love the G1 designs. Ive never had a classic Starscream toy and this one looks amazing!

Even this one, has the better look than his masterpiece version, its really accurate, becouse in his jet mode, his hands was more hided than the masterpiece starscream

Wow! I expected that this Starscream also would have that chunky legs as usual underneath like the g1 and the seeker model, but this one does not have that. Look forward to get a repaint as another jet-con

My brother has a box full of transformers and I was looking through them yesterday. I ordered this version of Starscream and I’m looking forward to having it in the overall collection.

I have this Starscream, too. I switched Starscream and Skywarp's heads. I painted Skywarp's face with the gaping mouth gray and attached to Starscream's body. In the cartoon, Starscream's mouth was wide open when Megatron pointed his weapon. Looks better.

Upscaled Classics transformation. I like it!

It looks like we are getting Galvatron and Unicorn according to the Starscream Earthrise box art (top of box and side of box respectively), on the top of the box you can see a tiny Galvatron floating around. Starscream's box art must represent when he jettisoned Megatron and the other Decepticon into space.

Not bad. Definitely want to grab this, but I'm probably going to wait for a Thundercracker repaint tbh.

I have both Siege and Earthrise Starscream, in my personal opinion, I much prefer the Siege version for the slick robot mode and articulation, with the Earthrise version in alt mode.

You are so right about the nose cone cockpit. EDIT: now I have him I find his limited shoulder articulation is the most egregious problem with this figure. He actually cannot shoot forward, only sideways. 🤦‍♀️ if an enemy combatant stands in front of him instead of to the side he's in trouble.

That hole in the neck area in the fighter mode is a crime

A way you can make him even more BA is if you have Siege Starscream, his null rays fit in this figure, so what I’ve done is in jet mode, I’ve put his rear side fins up and put 2 more null rays on him.

Great review man! I’ve got him, Grapple and a second Optimus (as I enjoyed him so much) on the way. Just waiting on the deluxe classes to become available. Are you gunna make vids on ny toy fair reveals?

Earthrise seekers are more popular because of their looks .They are so Cartoon Accurate

I definitely preferred the siege robot mode but I think this figure is… decent. But you know what isn’t decent? This review... Because it’s great!

Ive been looking for starscream under 100$. Non michael bay esque. Really have a good f15 mode and robot form. This seems to hit all marks... do you think there are other starscream version that i should look too?

Tip for the chest piece! Gently pinch his red shoulder pieces and then you can pry the chest piece out better 👍❤️

Good review. If I did not have the Siege version already I would this Starscream just on the basis him being an actual F-15. I may get him later but for now I'm still debating with myself. I hear the coneheads are coming so I may wait to see.

Looks like a budget version of Masterpiece Starscream like with Earthrise Optimus Prime. but it seems great, might buy it.

I personally think this figure is worlds better than the Siege one just because how show accurate it is(the feet wings kinda annoy me a bit though)

That robot mode is... really weak, except for the wings and shoulder scoops. Jet mode is fantastic, but I’m not gonna double dip on starscream just for the jet mode. Probably. Depends on how many of these they make.

3 years ago... oh my goodness, didnt realize this was that long ago

I have a few comments. The lack of round jet exhaust nozzles is unfortunate. However, there was a prototype/test version of the F-15 that had 2D thrust vector nozzles like that. But that was a one-off. Also, the tabs for that lock the top end of the chest plate shut are a bit overkill. I actually cut off two of the four tabs. It stays shut on it's own without them, and that makes transformation a lot easier. The wings fall off easily. That is the most annoying thing for me. I like the figure, but it isn't perfect.

Hey folks, I got my first Decepticon Seeker Air Commander Starscream, and hopefully I'll get Skywarp and Thundercracker next year. And hopefully I'll have the trio of Seekers.

I saw Screamer, but pick not to get him since I got Bumblebee and Arcee trio. Know how unhappy I felt not finally Soundwave? Really want him in the Deluxe line.

Earthrise Starscream is 100 Times better than the Siege Starscream

What is the purpose of the red transparent sheets in the set?

My red crotch plate pops off easily every time during transformation and the paint easily chips.

Oof, lack of wrist rotation is fine with me, but lack of waist rotation?? I’d rather have him come with no null rays.

I hate that step you have to open the torso in order to get the nose cone out and the arms inside, definitely feel it's gonna break.

Unfortunately, think I'm gonna pass on this one for the siege. It does look good, but I just prefer the aesthetic design of the siege more

I have never heard anyone complain about a frickin toy so much!!... Dude just be thankful you got the rain thing...if it's that bad of a figure don't get the other seekers when they come out...less for you to complain about

For whatever reason, I'm always underwhelmed by Starscream figures nowadays.

I would overlook that big gap on the sides of his waist or no wrist rotation but no waist rotation in this day and age? I mean Astrotrain has it and it's a triple changer. Pure laziness I think.

I gotta be honest, the Siege is better to me. Specifically the robot mode. I don’t like the tail fins just kind sticking out when you pose him and the nosecone just hanging there bugs me when compared to the Siege’s well hidden thruster on the back.

I dont mind false chests but I hate when they're visible in the other mode

Something I can't get over are the weird proportions, his legs and arms look kind of short. Also the torso doesn't really look too good for me, it looks very wide and empty. However the details make it look much better

Why the F-15 mode over the F-22 mode? The F-15 is really old school fighter aircraft.

Absolutely lovely-looking figure, but the inferior articulation to the Siege version just doesn’t do it for me. Visually appealing but physically disappointing.

I preffer the Siege version

I really prefer the Earthrise version than the whole Cybertronia spaceship style. But overall is still too plastic. Maybe this is really a toy for kids rather than for adult collector

I hate Starscream but this toy looks awesome!

The box art is false advertising as it's of the far superior Siege Starscream rather than the starscream you get.
