Agreed. That AOE Drift is still such a great toy. I’m just glad Breakdown is still fun, in spite of Hasbro’s best effort to cut joy out of the price point.
MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I really want a better ES set, HasTak made mistakes w/ ES personally I don't like kid-friendly/familyfriendly stuff and i feel like RID15 only increased HasTak not wanting to "take risks" and make a TFP-style show. more mistakes are in pricing and in articulation/accessories. Optimus should be a Voyager. Breakdown should be Deluxe. Maybe for shits-and-giggles bring back Scout Class for Twitch and Thrash as they are small.
You’re preaching to the choir here. Hasbro has become so tunnel-visioned on nostalgia that it is actively hurting the series. You can rely on G1 nostalgia forever, you always need to be cultivating new fans.
