Transformers LEGACY Evolution Deluxe Class Animated Universe PROWL Review 

The Animated series was/is unparalleled for their faithfulness to their on screen designs. Didn't even need masterpiece versions

I was afraid they’d lose too much of their personality in the Generations conversion, but this guy looks good! Hope the upcoming Animated Optimus is good, too.

This figure and skyquake go to show that mixing g1 with other art styles can work, when the design is prioritized over the g1 aesthetic. Easily one in the top 3 of legacy’s best figures.

This is the one I have been waiting for! Long Live Transformers: Animated! I can't wait to see more Animated figures in Legacy 🌚❤️

Seeing this Prowl and Prime Arcee next to each other, I think they could make a killer Arcee by remolding parts of Prowl. Because the wings, the handlebars and the wheels all are roughly in the same place as they are on Prime Arcee...

When the listing for Animated Prowl initially leaked I was scared that he was gonna wind up as a retool of Legacy Arcee, I mean they share a LOT of design elements, wheels on the legs, front of the bike around the chest (I know Arcee's had hers strapped to her back but they could've changed that for Prowl), and even the energon weapon that she came with was a SHURIKEN. So I had good reason to believe that Animated Prowl would've been butchered much like Arcee. SO GLAD to know that isn't the case and furthermore, I've said it a million times now, I'm also glad that Animated is relevant again with this new Prowl figure and the leaked Prime and Bumblebee coming later down the line. If only the late Derrick J. Wyatt was here to see his designs getting so much love...

I hope we get every Animated character like this, at least the main Autobot cast.

A Prowl remold into Armada Sideways would be really nice if they could make it so that they had the mini-con headmaster gimmick as well as the original Armada Sideways head

This looks excellent! Very glad we're getting these "updates" to those Animated figures, it's just nice to have different versions of those old Animated designs, it means the TFA fans have new figures to buy, and collectors that missed that line can grab these! This is what Legacy should be! I hope they make Legacy like Studio Series and keep it going.

My cousin just bought this for me for my 14th birthday This is my first official transformers figure and im very happy

Despite some of his flaws (like his the handlebars still present when he's in robot mode), he beats Prime Universe Arcee.

Legacy is exactly what we needed, tfp and animated characters finally got some love. I hope we will see some tfp characters in studio series, If you think about it tfp : predacon rising is still a movie

This is a MASTERPIECE!

I can't wait to put my hands on this one! My only gripe is that I would have loved to see some sculpting on the "inner" chest, seeing how it's covered by just a clear piece.

Of course you can say that the kibble on Legacy Prime Arcee is bad when you don't even position it well.

After seeing how amazing Animated Prowl looks in G1 style, I can't wait to see how they do Animated Bumblebee! Also, I wish they rereleased Prime Arcee with Animated Prowl's body with the Arcee's same head.

Prowl was my favorite character in transformers animated Love seeing him return in toy form again

finally picked up a copy of this guy. im glad its not just mine that has a problem with his accessories! one works just fine, but the other one refuses to open with the mechanism, so im glad that im not alone with this problem

I missed the whole Animated era of Transformers when it happened but this version of Prowl looks pretty great. I would probably look for an alternate option to those really bulky shuriken for him to wield in my display but I'm definitely wanna pick him up.

Transformers Animated is finally getting its Justice thanks to this Figure,I still wish that we got more future Animated content via Season 4.

Honestly I can agree with the chunky boy raiting you gave here prowl ate one two many donuts but for the most part its pretty sweet I see a 3rd party making some add on to this figure and really completing him to make him the samurai he was made to be.

I'm loving the new mash up version of Prowl. I can see TF animated series Prowl and TF Prime Arcee hanging out together enjoying a nice motor bike ride through the country roads.

Awesome video! I’m very excited to see Shrapnel! I’ve got my hands on a couple of Kickbacks and a Ransack. I can’t wait to make an Insecticon infestation. It’s pretty cool to put the Insecticons next to insect Predicons. It’s fun to pretend that Tarantulas feeds on the Insecticons like Airachnid did with the zombie vamps of TF Prime.

Just goes to show the truth of "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." That animated version is a smasher, especially in bike mode.

I had the original Animated Prowl figure when I was a kid. When I was in the 4th grade I had an aid, or something like that, who would reward me with a Transformer at the end of each month. That prowl was one of them. Dont have it anymore because I was a young kid and I destroyed my transformers. Wish I still had it.

Your opinions sound valid mainly because you have the original animated prowl but for a kid like me who was very little but still watched the show the rear portion of the bike mode isn't that a big a deal

Maybe the shurikens pull slightly apart before turning them as it looks like each part that comes off is actually pegged into place. But what is the point of 2 if only one fits properly?

I feel this one fits the translation of older design to new aesthetic best(Armada Starscream and Hotshot I don't count as they had to change little), or rather animated to g1. It's the same design and transformation scheme with the blockier aesthetic and it works. Leg being visible makes me think of the engine block. Like he went from an electric motorbike to a petrol powered one. Handlebars could have been removeable guns if not get an additional hinge to fold down. Arcee has the look but they changed just enough to throw it off. Bulkhead I like but he looks like he got to the g1 universe and took on a new form rather than his original form changing style. Oddly enough the colour scheme of Prowl makes me think of his samurai armour figure more than his main look.

Notice how prowl retains all of the details in the body despite making the proportions less slim, and the head sculpt likewise retains all of the details even with the g1 looking face design. Now compare this to arcee who retains all of the details in the body despite the bulkier proportions........ also the face is a G1 design despite having all of the details of the........ original...... wait why do people hate this toy again?

I finally got my hands on hot shot but for some reason it was sold out oh well maybe I hope I get my hands on the new prowl at least that'll cheer me up

I wonder if an upgrade kit will give him the Yokitron helmet, and upgrade suit...

is the entire windscreen transparent plastic painted over? doesn't seem like it'll be under a ton of stress when transforming, but it's still a trend I'm not too fond of (ie tarn)

Man that Prime Legacy Arcee is so sad considering how great both FE and TFP Arcees were in their own ways; the former for its engineering complexity, the latter for its more show-accurate robot mode.

I like the bike mode honestly, most bikes have a look where you can see a lot of engine parts towards the back so you could use your imagination and say that’s what the leg pieces become

10:30 you can see the original animated prowl figure has the bayverse autobot logo and I think it’s because the 2007 movie was coming up and transformers animated was released on the same year

It's Wreck-Gar's city slicker cousin? Well, maybe not, but definitely a better robot mode than LGC Arcee/Road Rocket/Flamewar. Can the handlebars be deployed over the shoulders like some kind of cannons/bazookas perhaps? Though Prowl didn't have them, the other Datson bros in G1 both had that kind of armament.

Doesn't even come close to how awesome that original Prowl was/is. You gotta get your hands on the old Samurai Prowl figure too... Tweaked the original model to be even better and gave him some extra armour pieces for bot mode that combined into a pretty seamless looking side car for the bike mode. Pretty much the stand out figure for me from the Animated line back in the day....

I'm happy to have the original Animated spacebridge repair team on my shelf and I don't think I need updated figures of the already good originals. Well I got the Legacy Bulkhead, but that's because I love Bulkhead. Only if the new one is much better than the original, but because they make them all more G1 I don't think so. OK maybe if the figure by itself is cool.

Hope there an upgrade kit that includes the side car to form the samurai form

The alt mode reminds me a bit of Actionmaster Prowl. Might be a potential redeco/retool.

Great figure although I'm disappointed they haven't put a out a G1 era Prowl...the last one is incredibly expensive and he's one of the few mainline ones that I really want. Hope an SS86 version of Prowl comes in the future. This figure is well done though.

I do have to wonder if Hasbro is planning to re-lease prowl with his helmet? Also hoping that animated prime will be next 👌❤️
