Transformers LEGACY Titan Class METROPLEX Cybertron Universe Review

I think it's really cool the alt mode isn't just a random "cybertronian vehicle", the Bucket wheel excavators are worthy of the "Titan" name.

Cybertron and the Unicron trilogy as a whole has been well handled in Legacy, Hasbro are killing it!

I usually don’t comment on videos but I wanna say you’ve inspired me to collect transformers again after when I was a kid playing with the movie line but thanks for always making quality videos with respect and honesty with your audience

My personal favorite incarnation of Metroplex. I love the fact that he spoke with a Scottish accent in Transformers: Cybertron and didn't so much as hesitate to side with Optimus and the other Autobots.

Absolutely the perfect figure for me right now. Been needing once since my old Cybertron Metroplex lost a part of the hand and can't hold his weapon in it anymore. I do wish this included a transparent energon shield type piece to represent the Cyber Planet Key - would've been a really nice simple touch while also tying into the year's gimmick of energon weapons. Still, will probably end up being my first titan figure.

It’d be neat to get Cybertron Scourge and Evac next, seeing as Override and Metroplex were the keepers of their respective keys as well.

Wow! I actually got a figure before your review! I literally got my Metroplex 2 days ago. I absolutely enjoyed my Metroplex. Great video. Till all are one!

I totally agree the handle is nightmare. Every time I try to pose this guy at least one of his thumbs is guaranteed to go flying off during the process.

Great, comprehensive and honest review. I agree there is some missed opportunity to improve the alt mode look, and also agree there is no point in keeping him in that vehicle mode. Outside of frustrations with him holding his weapon though, it is a very cool and poseable Titan. One thing I have noticed with mine that is most bothersome is that the ankle ratchet joint does not like to hold. I'll get him into a nice pose swinging the axe and seemingly very stable and sturdy, only for his ankles to give out within a couple days, and he's suddenly laid out on his back, or he's face planted. I have him on the floor while trying to find a cool pose he can hold for more than a couple days... can't have him taking a header off a shelf.

Don't sweat the haters man, just keep doing what you're doing. The internet is a f'd up place and that's just how it is.

My biggest grievance with this figure is how completely unpainted the backside of the figure is resulting in the work mode looking almost completely blank and covered and screw holes it's like they didn't even try at least the original had paint in the work mode

When you said that you wanted to take down some of the haters with that chainsaw accessory I about died of laughter, what a funny way to start of a great review

Speaking of tidal wave have you seen the original transforming battleships that are coming out from a third party company recently they're Transformations are amazing and they combine into a much larger bot that looks like the closest we would ever get to a movie version of tidal wave

It's great to see my TRUE Transformers childhood Unicron Trilogy come back, hopefully they'll make Jungle Planet characters like Leobreaker and Wolf Fang (*Wolf Fang seemed like a better name for Cybertron Snarl).

This guy was actually very interesting! I like that he has two robot modes, as it's a feature that very few bots actually have!

Now that we have Metroplex,We just need Tidal Wave.

Epic review PrimeVsPrime!!! I had no idea Cybertron Metroplex's alt mode was based on a real life vehicle before this figure was announced, and I have had the original leader class Cybertron Metroplex since it was released back in 2006. :D Keep on being amazing.

Just an idea when you make the review for legacy inferno you should have metroplex shredding inferno in the thumbnail

I like this thing. It's one of the few Titans that scale reasonably, plus he looks cool especially with his giant saw. Alt mode could use more artistic license, but to be fair, most Titan alt modes are terrible anyway.

I was never a fan of the Unicron trilogy, but I absolutely love some of the designs! This being one of them. This figure looks fantastic, but I definitely agree with you there’s quite a few things that I wish the designers did with this figure that would’ve made it perfect! I added him to my collection and I found a way to put paper on the tab of his hand and you can just push the peg of the saw into his hand and it will hold way better

I think this is the sexiest robot mode I’ve ever seen can’t wait to pick this beauty up .

I love FOC Metroplex more, but this Metroplex is amazing too.

Bought this guy today for 94€ via amazon, since I gifted my original cybertron Metroplex to my nephew last year 😅

I personally don't care much for the Cybertron version of Metroplex, but I like the idea of a titan that's just a massive mining/excavating machine- something that feels like a cross between a freighter ship and an oil rig, but for moving over the land. I feel like this mold would look amazing in a darker, more dingy color scheme, with maybe a bit of remolding to bring it back to a more utilitarian look. A few more platforms and maybe some guardrails, plus some molded in doors and windows would really hammer home the feel of a massive "land-ship". It's something I might try to make custom... if I had a LOT more time and money XD

If you compare this figure in work mode to the original version it looks like they almost engineered him incorrectly because his torso is backwards

The "Worlds are in danger" thing is a nice easteregg.

You're supposed to put the Core class figures in the centre cage.

I began collecting outside of my G1 figures with Siege. They were DIFFERENT than G1, while holding on to a familiarity to the originals. Love seeing things move forward and changing. My issue began, when I began seeing the SAME figure release in different series. I have Legacy Blaster and Galvatron.....not realizing until recently that they are the same as in Kingdom. I cannot stand that. I am sure some were brought over from other lines into Siege....but I have not gone between G1 and Siege. So they are unknown. It had lent me into stating Legacy was the final line I was going to collect aside from my G1 figures. But Legacy is showing itself to be far better than......so I dunno. But bottom line I like seeing different in things. This is different. Love it so far.

It's somewhat distressing for me as a collector that I have recently been getting bots in hand before you have had a chance to review them. 😅

I haven't taken mine from the box yet because I've got no place for him. If Tidal Wave does get made, I'll do whatever it takes to obtain him.

Shouldn’t Metroplex be a city or base?? I think that the “original” Metroplex titan you showed had the best looking shape/body. He looks cool with the double cube chest.

So this figure is cool, but I can't help and feel disappointed that such a big figure has the most simplistic engineering possible.. like imagine instead of boxing him up till he's in a suggestive position he actually formed into a bucket wheel-

PLEASE Hasbro make a titan class Armada Tidal Wave, that would be absolutely insane

I love this, but I don’t love the fact they made changes to the design just for the sake of change. The forearms and transformation didn’t need to be changed, they just did it just because. And if Override could still have her Cyber Key-activated guns as just flip-out guns for Legacy, then Metroplex’s axe could’ve had the head open manually too.

Can you disconnect the excavater wheel, flip the white piece onto the other side, the handle will be on the top and you should be able to swivel the whole excavator boom without it hitting anything 👍

It's a beautiful looking toy, not something I'd buy but I'm happy to see someone else enjoy it 👍
