I am blown away by this figure. I'm seriously considering on buying him.

The retractable mode of the ion blaster is movie accurate. It came from the scene where the autobots called for a retreat when Megatron showed up to the final battle. Jazz had shot him then Megatron shot back with that mode of the blaster. I love this movie and I love your channel

The fusion cannon was shown when he landed in Mission city and blasted Jazz with it

This looks like it doesn’t transform

The perfect 2007 decepticon collection, in my opinion; Masterpiece Megatron, Masterpiece Barricade, Frenzy (From human alliance barricade), Wei Jiang Blackout, Black Mamba Starscream, Wei Jiang Brawl, and TF Dream Factory Bonecrusher. Also I’m really hoping the new studio series e6254 leader class Megatron will be his 2007 version.

At last , after years his movie form was at least 90% accurate , now we just need to wait for last knight / aoe optimus

And in this video, Megatron will unhinge his jaw to show you the horrors within! Seriously, that mouth is terrifying.

I'm not really a big fan of this version of Megatron. However, the masterpiece looks great (even tho I'd like more silver grey instead of dark grey). The jet is nice-looking and I love the cannon. He looks awesome with Optimus Prime too! Great review, man! Keep it up!

I do believe he used the short version of the ion cannon in a one handed way when he first attacked jazz and ratchet in the street, at least thats what it looked like to me! Great vid!!!!

As one of the few huge fans of TF1 Megatron, I feel truly blessed that we have this beautiful figure. The best Transformers figure of 2019 (unless TW's Optimus comes this year), no contest.

I didn't see anyone mention this, but you can store the Ion blaster in vehicle mode. there are two slots on the blaster that plug onto two pegs underneath the tail section, in between the legs.

I lucked out and found this Megatron at a Ross department store for 40 USD!!!! So happy I got him!!!

I just got one not that long ago and needed to see a review on the fragile nature of the figure itself. Was considering giving it to my nephew for Christmas but after seeing the complexity of the figure, I know for certain he'd break it in minutes. Your review was insightful and greatly helpful.

The best thing about these MP figures is that they look like they don't transform. Aside from the fact that Megatron doesn't transform into any known vehicle, you wouldn't know he turned into anything at first glance. Everything is stowed away so well, and even when you see his backpack, it's still hard to believe that the rest of his body works in tandem with that kibble to create a vehicle at any rate. Truly, a figure worthy of being called a masterpiece. The only other way I can think of to get rid of the back kibble would be to create more hollow space within the figure and to have the parts fold down more in order to then integrate themselves into the hollow space, kind of like MP Dinobot. Otherwise, it's amazing.

I would love a studio series version of this version of Megaron, maybe a downsized version of this but without the cube and a bit more change?

He uses the small pistol on Jazz as he drops from the sky. Kinda wished you showed his extended gun on one hand.

Finally, after 12 long years, we finally get a better 07 megs.I didn't like the one in 07 when I saw it, that one is trash compared to this one, kudos to takara/hasbro for this masterpiece.

I got Optimus for 15 dollars at a comic shop and Bumblebee for 45 dollars. I'm curious to see how much I'd get Megatron

Someone should repaint this to look like the Transformers Animated Cybertronian Megatron from the pilot episode.

The rear of the jet on the cgi model isn't supposed to be so clunky with those legs sticking out, but tbh I don't see any other way of pulling off this design accurately so it's all good

Gotta be honest, his scale with Optimus is kinda disappointing. Prime is supposed to be a little bit bigger. Prime in the movie was almost the same size as megatron. In my honest opinion, megatron should be a little smaller....you guys can kill me with your words now hahahaha

Why is he so expensive? He has the least amount of engineering put into him out of all the mpm figure since his vehicle mode does not have to represent anything realistic.

His jet mode looks like his RotF tank mode but with wings.

I think compared to the studio series jazz and that masterpiece figure it's a scale side by side 🙂👍

just letting you know, look when Megatron crashes down into the city and he shoots Jazz, look at his right arm, there is the retracted cannon. i noticed that not too long ago as well. thought i’d share

And disappointing that they didn't add a wire into the mace weapon.

Very nice review. It looks good. With Weijiang making a carbot scaled Prime, this guy will fit beautifully with the ROTF leader Prime. I don't like the abundance of copper. Pretty sure that's not accurate.

Hey bro & great video Mr. Primevs! I got mine paid for at Chosen Prime. They usually get stuff in early too so im.hoping itll be in soon i just started doing videos bc my neighbor left. But a new is coming soon so i have no idea what that will entail it has everything to do with if i can do videos or not. What a lousy situation. Anyways love the figure however i wasnt a big fan of the talking about facts during the transformation. I think its too distracting for ppl that need detailed instructions to learn. But not everyone has a 176 IQ but with a learning disability, so its not the end of the world. Great presentation all around. 🤓

This might be late or even out of context, but, also the Leader class Optimus prime (from revenge of the fallen) looks amazing next to Movie master piece Megatron (I don’t have movie master piece prime)

I got mine at Ross on sale for $60 and he’s one of my mainstays in my movie collection. I’m still afraid to transform him

Takada has shown mpm megatron on various conventions, whether it as their version or just a placeholder remains to be seen
