The thing about ThreeZero, outstanding QC, amazing sculpting, great poseability, and consistency. in my opinion. ThreeZero is ALWAYS worth the price of admission.

Coming from someone who recently found a completely new love for the bayverse, this figure looks like it came out of heaven

It’s a wonderful figure that I have on preorder since April. My one gripe is that the blade isn’t removable from the fusion cannon. If you remember back to the film, Megatron often retracted his blade to use the cannon itself.

ThreeZero Always has the coolest looking figures

ThreeZero never fails when it comes to Transformers, especially when it comes to the BayVerse, I am hoping for them to make more like Jazz, Ratchet, Starscream, Ironhide (especially ironhide!) lockdown, a Sentinel Prime etc!

Insane level of detail, Threezero truly make the best Transformers figures. They announced last year that a DLX Shockwave from Dark of The Moon & Lockdown from Age of Extinction were coming soon and after seeing this figure makes me even more pumped for those figures, especially Shockwave!

Megatron in the Michael Bay Transformers films = underrated character I also love his design in ROTF most.

Thank you Justin for another great review. The depth and quality of your video reviews are fantastic and second to none! Even though this version of Megatron is not my cup of tea, I'm a huge fan of ThreeZero. From engineering, to details, to paint apps they have truly mastered their craft. Whether it's Transformers, Iron Man, Evangelion, and even Naruto I'm always impressed by their figures.

I wish the Michael Bay films ended with Optimus Prime and Megatron making peace, just like in the novelization of Dark of the Moon. That would have been great, especially since Megatron had character development and was capable of redemption. Or even better, it'd be amazing to see Prime and Megatron working together as brothers again after so long.

He looks sick this version of Megatron is my favorite in the movies

I cannot wait for this figure. My favorite Megatron design, and the best design in the Bayverse (imo). This will be my first Threezero figure and I’m sure it won’t disappoint.

I hope they do Dark of the Moon variants for Optimus and Megatron

Excellent video! This is my most anticipated figure of the year and I am so excited for him! I love the DLX line and I love the ROTF Megatron design, so this figure is a no brainer for me.

OP and Megatron standing next to each other with a white background makes them look like publicity stills of the 3D models, absolutely insane that you can pick them up and pose them!

I finally got my copy today, I was gonna get ROTB prime but I decided since I grew up on Bayverse it was only right to look for Megs. Got him for a hell of an aftermarket price too like literally the retail price and the figure might as well be brand new. Genuinely, without a doubt, 100000% the best figure I own in my entire collection. I have a KO version of the DLX ROTF Prime (which is SUPER impressive for a KO), but this literally looks like the Megatron I grew up watching on the big screen. ThreeZero truly are some damn wizards. CANNOT wait for their Lockdown and I pray they do sideswipe.

I’m with you that i’d rather have highly detailed accurate figures they’re simply gorgeous.

Threezero really just brought back the mechalive gimmicks from back in the day

Rem few years ago I was one of those “hey it’s a transformer that doesn’t transform. It’s not a transformer then. Not getting it”. But then a saw the Optimus Prime Bumble for a really good sale, it looked so good in person I got it. Man so glad I did. 100% converted me to threezero, or I say it transformed me onto liking threezero. When you hold that figure in your hand you know your holding something special. The weight of all that diecast on it then seeing that amazing paint job, and to top it off when you start to articulate it and see all the awesome engineering that goes into it. I don’t care what anyone says, A regular transforming transformer just doesn’t compare to a outstanding threezero transformer when done right. Now I got many threezero transformers and even the Ironman. People your missing out if you don’t try a threezero transformer out. Yes some 3rd party companies do make some crazy good looking transforming transformers and they almost look as good as a threezero one. Some come really close. But that’s it. Almost. And cause it transforms it always hit it in the articulation. This long rant rant if read it this far is to highly recommend if you haven’t tried a threezero figure yet do yourself a favor. Try one. You will be pleasantly surprised and before you know if you to will be a threezero collector saying I don’t mind it not transforming to. REM there is more then meets the eye with threezero.

Hey Justin! Good review, these diecast figures look good. Probably out of my price range depending on the cost...I could probably only afford one. I settle on the Studio Series, having acquired The Fallen back in July (and I referred to your video to get the hidden Sun Harvester alt mode, which I think is really cool!) And yes, the packaging gives me Leader Class vibes from back in the day!

Three zero did a splendid job with him, but they forgot to add the regular fusion cannon arm😢

Excellent review justin! Threezero really made a splash with this figure, its so epic! Hopefully they continue doing transformers figures and if they did starscream and bumblebee that'd be sweet. Also that jetfire optimus must take up so much space but definitely worth it

You're the first guy I've seen mention how the boxes are super late 2000's /early 2010's in design, they totally remind me of the movie toy packaging from around that time; before AoE and its very sterile toy packaging, with the vertical TRANSFORMERS text on every box came around.

Another amazing figure by TZ! Only thing I’d say they could improve on is swap out faces or articulated mouths, and articulated fingers for larger bots.

I’m with you on non transforming figures. People who want a transforming figure can get one. But someone who wants an accurate <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="61">1:1</a> of the robot mode, it can’t possibly transform while looking accurate. I’m going to build a <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="84">1:24</a> model of bumblebee just to put it next to my model kit Camaro and still collect transforming toys on top of that

these ThreeZero TransFormers figures are gorgeous. I can imagine how bitchin' they would be if they could transform.

These Transformers are awesome! That moving knee is very cool. Yes I wish you can transform them but like you I rather have them more articulated and looking as perfectly to the movie. We can always buy a transforming version from another company. There’s even one out there that transforms and moves but boy is it pricey.

I hope Threezero makes Sentinel from Dark of the Moon someday.

I just returned my 400$ Green Goblin Deluxe from Hot Toys so i can get 2 DLX models because they're just better quality. Once i saw plastic joints in a 400$ purchase i said no thanks.. i like quality!

as beautiful as this its painfully too small compared to prime. for whatever reason threezero never really bothered with scaling them properly but i wish they did with this guy. still excited to get mine

What’s cool about this is they are focusing it transformers revenge of the fallen and considering they are doing that we might get the fallen and it would be the perfect figure considering he doesn’t transform he teleports

Can you take the sword thing off of the cannon arm? Even if you can’t, does he take it off in the movie? I swear I saw a few scenes with him just with the cannon. I know the studio series could but maybe it was just for transformation? Excellent figure and excellent review ❤

Saying that it's bad that a transformer figure can't transform is like saying a goku figure is bad because he can't go super saiyan

If Threezero make a dlx sentinel prime my brain explodes

It's about the "character" not the "gimmick". I don't need them to transform for a kick ass display. AND, not all Cybertronians can transform. ex: Bayvers Shockwave does not transform Threezero always blows me away how the can make plastic look so much like metal. I really would have liked an articulated jaw and a swappable retracted blade. I have the 4ever model and that one does both... but it is super fragile.

The only thing I can see being an issue is that he should be a head taller. Aside from that, this is really impressive, almost 0 downgrade from the prototype and the sculpt work seems to be at their finest. Goddamn Threezero, that's just magic.

Hi Justin, I have a problem with the toys wonderland website, everytime I want to order something when I proceed from the cart to paying I automatically switches the currancy to HKD and I can't change it back. I tried it on my two phones and on my laptop but every time the same error I even made a second account to Check if the problem lies there but no luck Do you know what I can do to fix this?

Is it bad that it bugs me that this is more gold than silver… I think it should be rusted silver… I understand because he was at the bottom of the ocean… metal rusts, and turns this color… I get that, but I just wish he was more silver rusted
