Transformers Rise. This game has been in development purgatory for what feels like eons. We're talking Cybertronian life cycles. Like whenever I talk about this game I feel like that 1 guy that's still preaching about how he saw Big Foot. But it sounds like I'm repeating myself. As mentioned at the beginning of the video all of the leaks and documents were there. But most of the evidence we got only corroberated theories that this game would never be released. Because there are some controversial entities attached to it. For the longest time it seemed like the franchise own Hasbro had ultimately given up on trying to publish another noteworthy game on the level of Fall of Cybertron. It's officially been 10 years since we've had such a critically received TF game such as that 1. The rest have been cash grab mobile games. So yeah it seemed like we weren't gonna get any serious Transformers games anytime soon. Topple that on to some of the murmerings revolving around a company called Tencent. Apparently this company has been buying out any and every game developer and the company associated with TF Rise was 1 of them. There have just been so many things that exposes the big black cloud this game has over it. On top of the we're still a bit apprehensive that it'll actually be good if we even get it. Because based off the name it seems to be a movie tie in game.

I think this franchise dipped after AOE. Bay used fan favorite bots but the story combined with them pretty much rigged the franchise in a bad way. Besides this if they go back on track with the Travis Knight style. This Rise beast thing will dip too.

I really hope this ends up being some kind of open world scenario where you can go anywhere and just do missions to build yourself up and then be able to customize the heck out of your character in every which way possible. That would be super dope.

@@calebhogue2619 I think if they did something similar to what they did with the first transformers game, I’ve ever personally played, back on the PlayStation2 which was the transformers the game, if I can remember the title correctly. If they did something like that, but gave you a bunch of customization and let you go online with people more, that would be awesome to me.

Man it's be hard to follow up FoC, it's a game from another time when devs really wanted to make a great product that the fans would love, can tell by how much work was done even in the credits. It's a shame that most games after that were either bad or a lazy mobile game. I'm open for a new transformers game but with tencent behind it, I'm very cautiously optimistic to say the least.

@@itstoasty7089 imagine customizable characters, like choosing from G1, Armada, and Bay forms. Even taking different things from different continuities into one story. NEST and Mech, Spike Witwicky, Agent Fowler and Sector 7 all in the same story. I could also imagine it building up a universe story through seasons. Like Season 1 we fight somebody like Motormaster or Lockdown, but after that we get a ending cutscene with Agent Fowler and Lennox showing Optimus Decepticon activity, and a image is shown to the Autobots as Optimus says “Megatron”

Peter Cullen is a _huge_ name in voiceacting. So this replacement stuff is probably an effort to reduce how long he's employed and therefore reduces how expensive it is to get him. If you only have to have him in the sound booth for a day or two, rather than through the whole development process...

I don't know why this hasn't happened sooner. Sure there was that one tf mmo a few years ago but I don't know what happened to it. I would think that transformers has a big fan base so I'm not sure what's stopping them.

The Jagex was an MMORPG Transformers universe and had a beta that could been played if you applied early enough I actually enjoyed it that i put money in it but was reimbursed. the Chinese Transformer Online one was an MMO battle arena and only was playable in there language.

Really excited for this game if it's released. I never got a chance to play war for cybertron and fall of cybertron but seen gameplay of those games and its one of best games I've seen. If TF Rise were to be released I would definitely pick it up 'cause the only TF games I've played were the mobile games (Forged to Fight and Earth Wars) and they've gotten stail after playing them for a while.

imagine a transformers game styled a little bit like cod warzone or battlefield where it’s a huge map but instead of getting into vehicles it depends on the vehicles you chose and they could have different game modes like ground assault air assault or mixed in alt modes and it’s just an all out war that takes place on Cybertron that would be an amazing game that would probably bring more people to the series especially if it didn’t have loot crates or anything just the 2 guns your transformer comes with

If we were to get another Transformers game. I would want it to be a fighting game similarly played like Mortal Kombat. Just without the fatalities. My other hope would be that it would bring in characters from different continuities. But I can see how that would get kind of redundant with having similar characters. So they’re not too different from their other counterparts they could be outfits that you could unlock.

Honestly the whole exclusive thing in general is stupid to me, make it that something is made available to a certain platform/service first, even a year or more ahead of everyone else getting it, but for every person who jumps on the platform because of the game, about 50 potential customers just go f**k it, obliterating large parts of the client base (read: profits).

Being Bayversy, it can stay unreleased. (Just my opinion. Not a fan.) Just give us a good modern G1 or at least G1 inspired game already. Tencent is the company behind Warframe which is amazing at times, so this could be a decent game. I'll play it but, I want a good game with good G1 characters. John Baily does a great OP.

The only reason I would think of having someone other than Peter Cullen voice Optimus Prime is either if they are doing an Orion Pax or Shattered Glass Optimus, who would be pretty cool to see voiced by someone like J. K. Simmons, since his voice just sounds like a gruffer version of Peter's.
