@@wingedbluj1674 Accent's whatever. That could've been a unique addition to the character, I actually don't mind it. But he still looks nothing like Wheeljack and doesn't act like he ever has throughout the movie. Also he didn't do anything scientific that the other Autobots couldn't do, so the nerd look is still total overkill.
I have a theory about this Wheeljack. Maybe the fall of Cybertron had a negative impact on Wheeljack's mental health maybe he got PTSD. So now he has developed this alternate persona of 'Pablo' as a coping mechanism. Same situation as Fat Thor in Avengers Endgame.
Then, in the next movie, he's back to his bumblebee bee appearance with a G1 looking vehicle, and then it explains what happened to him during his 7 years in Peru, then the rest of the other autobots keep it as a ongoing gag
This is such a downscale from the Bay movies (I mean in details on the Cybertronians) remember when we could look at an autobot or Decepticon and see lots of hidden details like for example Sentinel's mouth has a spring that moves when he talks and his cylinder like things underneath the glass on his chest spin whenever he's about to do something (it reminds me of someone tensing up before they move)
I hope they make Wheeljack a new character named "Pablo" after the reactions from the audience because of his design in Rise Of The Beasts. And in the next movie, we see that Wheeljack came to the Earth after Rise Of The Beasts. (Unfortunately, on Rotb, Mirage said "Wheeljack" when talking about him.)

I think most of us would've been cool with that. Wheeljack is way too beloved to pull a BS move like this. This whole character assassination reeks of The true eater of worlds Michael Bay 😮.......
@@TomE.V. Yeah lets all blame Bay because we refuse to admit that another director hasent made the changes we are crying over but repeated what came before it. If Bay does it he ruined are childhood (clue its not g1 its its own thing) but someone else directs and the things we hated we are suddenly ok with.
Yet while I have no problem with ROTB Wheeljacls's alt-mode there is this thing called CONTINUITY that would dictate that THIS Wheeljack's FACE would resemble his face in this film's prequel BUMBLEBEE from 5 years prior. Especially since his Autobot comrades still pretty much resemble themselves consistently (for the most part).
surprisingly i enjoyed “pablo’s” addition to transformers sure he isn’t wheeljack and will never be wheeljack, but as his own character (maybe he admired wheeljack and carried his namesake) he’s a pretty enjoyable one
I rlly like that idea honestly, him admiring wheeljack, I enjoyed wheeljack in this movie as well, the accent caught me off guard but I’m happy with it, surprisingly funny
I remember when wheeljack had double wielding swords and had a sports car vehicle mode, and was an ass kicking wrecker, but now he’s some hippie mini van

Heard somewhere that the director claimed Pablo is just also named Wheeljack. It’s like knowing two guys named Tom. Our Wheeljack is still out there, he’s just not this guy, but possibly related?
As sad as I am to say this, it's Wheel Jack now I know what you're thinking "didn't he appear in Bumblebee and didn't they nail him there" and yes they did (keyword being did) because this is as bad as Einstein wheel Jack (at least he died) I mean why the hell does he have glasses I can accept the beards and the helmets in bayformers but this is way too much
