You have the head slightly miss transformed in shark mode, it doesn't disappear but it is designed to bend forward so the faces hides a bit in the collar.
Your dorsal fin problem I think is in your copy, mine is actually pretty snug. Also of note: I got my copy from Big Lots, of all places. I encourage anyone who lives close to one to check there's just in case, my Big Lots had Gnaws' entire wave somehow, and this has popped up at least two other times that I can confirm with other people from the allspark Discord Anyway tbh my only real complaint with Gnaw is that they didn't give him his antennae. There are even circular depressions where the antennae WOULD have been. Missed opportunities...
I collapsed the neck joint and turned the head to better hide the face. It feels like it’s not SUPPOSED to be a joint, but it works. Also: a little paint on the fin peg (or floor polish) should snug that up nice.
Hmm must be specific to yours because the Gnaw I got at Walmart, it’s fin is super tight. Like I can barely turn it or get it out. Plus the peg is too big for gnaw to hold it as a weapon. Also my favorite pose is gnaw in robot mode riding Wreck-gar’s motorcycle
I always thought about getting the Titan's Return Gnaw for how neat looking and cheap it was, but something in me kept me from doing so. It was likely some combination of the colors and the proportions of the Sharkticon mode not sitting with me. But once I glanced at the Studio Series Gnaw, with his better looking robot mode and more appropriate proportions and colors of the Sharkticon mode, I snatched up that sucker while it was still $20 on Amazon at the time. And of course, I love him!
My Gnaw also has this thin plug in Fin 😂😂😂... and i also freaked out over it . But its pretty easy to fix , so now iam calm and happy that i got him . Looks great with all the Quintessons
Didn't think i wanted him, but after seeing the transformation i decided to get him to lead my Legends Sharkies and the one from the Quintesson pit of judgment. Still on the fence when it comes to the Allicon, it is almost identical to the one from that set.
Only two flaw: "Broken" ankle tilts and visible robot face syndrome in monster mode. Not dealbreakers though. Otherwise, it's pretty fantastic overall and worth the full price. BTW, you may be the only one with that dorsal fin issue. Time for floor-polish/crazy-glue/tape I guess.
i was never sure as a kid or now why they called them sharks, mean just looking at it you can def tell that is more a piranha. I do like this figure but trying to outclass the King Slayer is gonna be realllly tough as that HotRod is a showcase in excellence.
Aside from the dorsal fin, I'll say a 10/10. Ps: What other bipedal animal would be interesting for a transformer? I'll say a Bidepal Swordfish or a Chameleon from some tongue action (or a Killer whale if you are a Street Sharks fans)

Kup doesn't want to stand not because he's drunk but it's because he's too old, lol, also Gnaw and Allicon's small sizes maybe has something to do that they are meant to be army builders.
The head can be tilted down some more in shark mode to hide the face. The back of the head is still visible, but the spike can make it look like some kind of grinding tongue.
