If i was watching this movie on a plane, I'd still walk out.

That intro is golden.

They need a transformers in the view of megatron

Transformers are my guilty pleasure and I love them knowing all the flaws and cringe at everything. Idk why but I like these movies.

This movie was horrible. It should be used as a torture method. No flow, no structure, no storytelling. I understood what was going on in all the prior movies even if I though it was dumb. Once they got to England I was done. I walked out. The entire reason for watching these movies are the final battles and I couldn't hold on till then. lol

It’s kinda lame that they made “the staff” as the new cube, it’s like a theme now for every single movie. First the cube, second the allspark, third the pillars, fourth the seed, and now the staff. Can there just be a movie with a different storyline? I would love to see a movie without whiny screaming people that just get thrown around and barely do anything. They should just make a prequel movie on Cybertron with the war and only transformers.

Last reviewer I loved was Mr. Ebert himself, although you don't share the same style or demeaner (lol)....but you do share the complete and pure flow of thought process he had as well as your honesty in reviewing movies based on your own feelings about the movie as apposed to having a preconceived judgement of the movie based on existing reviews. Love your intro Chris as bay is not going to direct any future films of the franchise and the next installment will be made by the director of kubo and the two strings so maybe the transformers will be great, right?

This movie felt too rushed. The scenes when they give Megatron his Decepticon comrades suits the rushed editing, but it wasn't necessary for the whole movie! There was no time to process what we saw, the next scene rushed as if they wanted to cram the movie in as little time frame as much as possible. They could've saved the movie by writing the story better, and letting the scenes breathe like Zack Snyder did with JLSC. The fights, Megatron and some scenes were kinda badass to the film's credit.

What really pissed me off is that the movie had a scene that was put in the trailer that was a straight up lie Spoilers below It seems like the trailers of this movie were making it seem like it was gonna be Optimus Prime going against the autobots, and there is a scene at the end of the trailer that looks like Optimus spinning in a circle slicing up a group of transformers, the problem was that that scene was right after he turned good again, he was killing a group of decepticons, but in the trailer they tried to trick us into thinking those were autobots that he was killing, they even made his eyes purple during that scene ONLY FOR THE TRAILER! In the actual movie his eyes were normal, God I hate false advertising

Michael Bay should just stick to making commericals.

Even though Age of Extinction is bad, this is definitely NOT better. Not only is its narrative worse, its characters cringier, and it's filming techiques unbelievably terrible, but if you think for a second that any part of this film makes sense, you're wrong. Bumblebee re-assembling, except HOW can he do that? Optimus Prime meeting Quintessa, except we already saw that the creators were ORGANIC in the last movie, and that the original Dynasty of Primes all look like the Fallen. Optimus is said to be a descendant of the Dynasty of Primes, and Sentinel, presumably his relative, would have KNOWN if he were actually created by Quintessa. Megatron acting like a cartoon villain with a cartoon biker gang Decepticon team, except Megatron was NEVER like that, and wasn't he just Galvatron? Megatron making a snarky remark at Starscream's head, except Starscream was NEVER decapitated. He died because his head exploded. Bumblebee speaking again, except there's no reason ever given for WHY he can speak, especially since he tore out his only voice box a few minutes prior. Optimus saying "I haven't heard your voice since Cybertron fell," except he DID hear it in the first movie, and it was British. Megatron saying "We were brothers once," except this is redundant character development because Optimus already made the choice to execute him prior. Earth now has two moons, except Cybertron was clearly BIGGER than Earth before. So really, this movie acts like it's the culmination of everything we've seen so far, except it contradicts almost everything we've seen so far. It's an F you idiot.

As far as I know 4 major blockbuster franchises tried to make a “versus movie” where good guys fight against each other. Marvel, DC, Fast And Furious, Transformers. Let’s just say the clear winner was marvel with captain America: Civil war who did excellent. Then after comes fate of the furious which was good, not perfect but still good. Then DC with Batman v Superman which was just not very good, it had great potential and some good visuals but apart from that it was nothing really. Then last place is Transformers which went really badly.

I've been watching multiple reviews of this movie because it's so fun to see people bash michael bay's trash.

Hey Chris! There is an old horror thriller from the 70s that Hopkins starred in called "Magic". Dude, I am telling you it is SO under rated and truly a work of art! It is so damn good! Ive been watching your reviews since 2016 in a weird way ive come to know your tastes in film and dude trust me, "Magic" is well, WELL worth your time.
