So what if it's for kids. Look at kung-fu panda, it's for kids and it's better than every fucking movie micheal Bay every made. Your just judging tf 1 because it's for kids. Plus, transformers was always for kids, since day 1
Bayverse is not the og. Real og is from Generation 1. G1 fans hated bayverse for wasting many transformers characters and did not follow the original designs. And bayverse fans hated the rebooted verses. This just shows people kept looking back at pasts, instead of future. How sad. Edit: Sorry for my tone. Didnt really want to start an arguement but just telling ppl that we all should accept the new movie. Great edit btw
Our problem is not "og", our problem is that they turned a huge movie into a children's movie, the designs, childish behavior, and seriousness of the movie are gone. We became attached to Bayver Prime because of his seriousness and toughness, and he became the hero of our childhood. I would like to see Transformers One with Bayver designs or serious and tough designs. We don't want children's movies. By the way, even though Transformers Prime was animated, Optimus was a very tough and serious character.
@@Pechkoo because Transformers WAS made for children!! They were action figures that can turn into vehicles. The company wanted to make them because, well , because they wanted to sell toys to children. Also, the one you see here has yet not become Prime, as shown in the trailer. He is still a low level soldier with Megatron as his brother/buddy. He's still young, and has not yet had the character development to become Optimus Prime. While I will say that they have upped the "funny" factor than ATF series a bit, this is also fine.
@@Pechkoowhile I get your frustrated with the tone of tf1 and I do adore the bay films dotm got me into tf and dotm prime is my favourite Desgin for optimus. We should welcome what is new and different that's why transformers has survived for so long because it's always evolving and why the bay moives failed at the end people were burnt out on the tf films and it's affects can still be be seen with the box office return of both bbm and rotb. And while the trailer is advertising that tf1 will be less serious then bay even tho if you watch the bay films most of those films aren't very serious they have their serious moments but they are a lot more goofy and silly then you'd imagine. Tf1 will explore the fall of prime and megs relationship which in my opinion if done correctly will be more serious and mature then anything from prime and the bay films. Also the point about optimus being serious and tough in both prime and bayformers is kinds silly to make as it isn't really a good quality. Tfp optimus prime is so serious he gets annoying to listen to as he talks to much while saying so little it makes him feel so soulless which isn't very good for the franchises main mascot. And bay prime while displaying more emotion unfortunately suffers from the fact he is way to violent like I love bay prime but I really hate how violent he is. And certain lines like "we will kill them all" really tub me the wrong way. Even peter Cullen was uncomfortable saying that line. So being serious and tough isnt a objectively good quality look at rebel moon that film is very serious and it's terrible. Meanwhile a show like owl house is much more kid friendly but that has a better written story then most transformers stories. And the designs we'll it's muhh cheaper to create simpler designs then the typical bay Desgins and for the amount of characters in this film it's more preferable to have simpler designs then the bay ones and that's not a bad thing. I think the edits really good but you gotta keep in mind this moive isnt trying to be bayverse it's trying to be its own thing transformers has thrived on new ideas so try and give the mlnew moive and new tf media a chance may end up being surprised
Look personally I’m not gonna hate on a movie that’s not even out yet sure the tone is different but this isn’t for bayverse fans I would know I am one but this movie is going for its own thing plus a lot of people forget this movie isn’t just them being happy on Cybertron at the end of the movie or towards the end, we will get to see how Optimus and Megatron end up becoming mortal enemies and plus it’s been confirmed several times by many people that this movie isn’t just going to be this tone it will have serious moments so as long as it keeps that promise I am fine with the movie and to the people saying oh it’s a kids movie it’s not sure it seems like it, but it’s not this movie feels a lot like the Mario movie in the tone that it is rightnow or is in the trailer the majority of the people who went to the Mario movie were not kids some of them but the majority of them we’re just adults. Think about that in this movie is definitely for the more general audience but that doesn’t make it a kids movie.
Yet again, it is bad for people who wanted more serious movie? Yes. It is bad for this movie overall, and especially considering that this is animated movie, not live action? No. I personally excited for this movie. I like the animation, voice cast, designs, and i don't mind comedy moments.
la gente que extraña el bayverse debería volver a ver las películas y ser un poco más críticos. esas películas estuvieron bien en su momento, pero no creo que hoy en día sea lo que la franquicia necesite
I LOVE TRANSFORMERS FROM THE BAYVERSE! But why you hating on the new stuff? It's still good, if not better than some, Micheal bay films... (Another thing I forgot to mention, G1 should be called the original, since without them we wouldn't have this franchise!)
i recommend watching (or-rewatching, depending on whose reading) the trailers for into the spider-verse, puss in boots 2, and tmnt mutant mayhem. all of the initial marketing for those movies was packed with jokes and presented a lighthearted tone in order to appeal to kids. which, whether you like it or not, is the main audience for transformers and those other respective properties. all of those trailers had the main intent to get kids to ask their parent(s) if they could go see the movie. they do not in any way reveal the actual nature of the movie. they go out of their way not to show the more mature themes, the true nature of the story, the best moments, etc. i can't definitively say whether or not that is the case with transformers: one, but i would say it is stupendously likely. i could see the first half of the movie having a more kid friendly tone and then the second half flips everything completely on its head when megatron inevitably betrays everyone and starts a war. the bayverse is not the be all end all of transformers. i would argue it's kind of the opposite. those movies, in my opinion, have damaged public perception of the brand and have led many people to believe that transformers is supposed to be a largely serious and gritty tale. it's not. it's supposed to be a high octane space adventure with likeable characters and an incredible sense of heart. it can and should have dark moments where the heroes are getting their asses kicked, but it shouldn't be sicario with robots. that isn't to say there aren't aspects of those movies that i greatly enjoy, but they are more bad than good. just my two cents.
Just because Bayverse was the one you gre up with, does not mean this is bad. In fact, Michael Bay made them so violent and atrocius, guess people like the booms and bashing and all, I mean, ngl hooked me up with the films as well. But still, Bayverse did not portray what Transformers meant really. For him , it was just "robots fighting because" Sorry to disappoint, but maybe try watching or doing research on the characters before deciding what they mean. Cool edit though.
The fact that it is a beginning is not a reason to design it as a children's movie, the movie has no seriousness left. I recommend you to take a look at Transformers official pages, 9 out of 10 people are not satisfied with the designs. Even though Transformers Prime is old, it was much better in design than ROTB and Transformers One.
@@Pechkoobro it will get serious later on this is the golden age it was always lighthearted we talk about bayverse but we forget about animated g1 and beast wars bayverse and prime are not the only media that exists
OHHH BROO....finally at least someone said it... I thought I was the only one, and damn Optimus' words were so true yes, really, these are not transformers that Now...how tired of them, what is happening to our franchise guys???.God grant health and happiness to the author of this Edita video and well, in short, you understand
