@@user-li8od8yq2z only that is the use of the matrix and we dont even get to see the part where bumblee leaves sam how the autobots were ambushed and optimus suddenly becoming a knight not to mention the fact that the dino bots were super badass in trf 4 but in trf 5 they were in just their alt modes some how there were more than 12 knights and in the mueseum scene in trf 5 somehow the model of optimus was his new form he took in trf 4 it should have been his exoskeleton form their countinuity sucks and for hasbro they change the auto bots everytime either kill them or make them go missing and i hate that they make a new super rare earth destroying universe destroying artifact every new movie
Unicron was actually the prey in this. Primis was acting like a lion, eating a gazelle or something similar. Unicron was not a threat in the Bay films, he was more of a victim.
Wow, so Lockdown actually tried to kill Optimus when Optimus had an artifact that essentially made him invincible? Haha, idiot. ...I'm still coping with Ratchet's death, don't mind me.
"Feeling lucky punk!. What? I just wanted to show him my cannons!" Anyway I think the reason the Matrix of Leadership was forgotten is because it surved its purpose to bring Prime back in ROTF. Once he was resurrected it served its purpose on keeping him alive despite fatal injuries. I think Bay just used it as a prop to bring him back without going into any of the lore
The reason why the Matrix in the was forgotten in the Transformers Bay-Verse it’s because Bay , Di Bonaventura, and Aaron Krueger had no respect to the “Transformers Source Material “
Or, maybe it was because the Matrix of Leadership served no purpose in Transformers 4 and 5. I mean, Jesus Christ, you people will take any opportunities you get to criticize the Bayformers universe.
@@The-kr9rb Not in Transformers 4 and 5 as Unicron wasn't present in Transformers 4 and in Transformers 5, killing Unicron would destroy Earth. Besides, Transformers 5 would be even more cluttered if it included Unicron as another villain after the TRF, the Deceptions, Quintessa, and Nemesis Prime. Obviously Unicron was being saved for the 6th movie where the Matrix most likely would've been reintroduced.
@@PhantomOverlord no i doubt killing unicron would destroy earth. It didnt do that ib TFP, the series their version was based on. Not to mention it would be pretty fucked up killing unicron destroys earth, but if Unicron fully awakens the earth is also destroyed.
I love Ironhide he can take Megatron all by himself he's like one of my favorite characters because he's and can stand lots of hits from Megatron and strong
Was watching the g1 show and when galvatron killed starscream before he said “coronation starscream this is bad comedy” which is a line in transformers fall of cybertron when megatron is resurrected love that high moon studios put that line
Actually it's been confirmed that the last knight is gonna have a sequel, like I mean it was confirmed this year that they are making it, or gonna, but with the corona virus it could take awhile
The first three transformers movies were amazing, still to this day I get goosebumps when Optimus transforms for the first time... made my childhood👌🏻🙏🏻
The Transformers Bay Universe deserves to be devoured by Unicron himself, cause he’s a Multi -Versal entity , and I myself want to forget about the Michael Bay Transformers films.
Why? The film's aren't bad, they are just different. Don't think of the film's as a reboot to any other series, just think of them as their own continuity completely separate from everything else. Then they are pretty door
Phantomkillerx5 I’m not an expert in the development process of these films, but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the case. Hasbro held a strictly advisory role in the making of these films with no veto power. They were the licensors but they’re a toy company, not a film company. So whatever the actual filmmakers wanted to do, Hasbro would give some input, but ultimately the filmmakers had final say on who was hired. The most Hasbro did with writers was inviting them to Hasbro HQ and giving them a crash course history lesson of the lore. What they did with the info and what stories afterwards were almost completely out of Hasbro’s hands. And Michael Bay said he kept coming back to the franchise because he liked the writers and their ideas.
The reason the matrix was not mentioned or utilised in the last 2 films was simply because they forgot about it. Just like how after the first film they forgot how wise and compassionate Optimus Prime was. After first movie, he became a cold ruthless killing machine
Love your vids and if theu continue we should see the matrix of "leadership" make optimus the true prime he should be i simply think these are still primes early years of figuring out how to become the prime he needs to be and learn to communicate with the original primes and defeat unicron kinda like how sam communicated with the primes in revenge of the fallen
The bros from the 3 king doorway here at the afterlife watching Sam explained to him the matrix of leadership is earned and count on him to return to optimus to defeat the fallen thus destroying the star harvester.
this always bugged me, when Optimus almost died and was low on energon in age of extinction the matrix would fix him and in last knight the matrix would keep him from getting mind controlled
I want the Ironhide because I always been a huge fan of him since tf1 and he is still my favorite, when I heard that a masterpiece Ironhide was going to come out, I wanted to have it but my parents say no because it was expensice, thank you random black gamer and I also subscribed and turned on notifications

The Matrix of leadership was in Age of Extinction it was just never spoken of the Matrix of leadership was actually what went off when stopped in his prime got stabbed in the chest by lockdown and death will cause him to survive but it wasn't his spark does the Matrix being destroyed
I feel the reason Prime never grew stronguer or wiser from the Matrix is because he didn't deserve it or earned it, he was given it Since the one that earned it and was destined to wield it was Sam
Hearing the music in his intro got me thinking about fall of cybertron. And then for some reason i remembered when metroplex said to prime, "i heed the call of the last prime" and i got sad because my mom threw out the game and also war for cybertron.

Well, one thing lead to another and I found the Swedish Transformers community- actually they found me and that's maybe thanks to you... I'm now helping with illustrations to RetCon and today I was a guest in a Swedish Transformer Podcast. Sweet stuff man!
I imagine the Matrix is used off-screen and never on-screen afterwards since there were no dead, but intact body to revive. Like Ratchet was melted and there's no coming back from that
I think it's because it's a huge deus ex machina. People were already questioning why Jazz couldn't come back for DOTM considering that he's the second in command leader after Optimus, and there's even some convincing things that seem like he was initially planned to return, going as far as to give him a toy repaint and an alternate universe comic with him being a zombie, (yes, really) so my guess is that they purposely got rid of it after they finished the script for Sentinel Prime's return because they don't want any other characters to be revived, especially going forward in future movies. Ratchet alone for example could've been revived from that alone, but they worked around it some more where Lockdown literally rips out what remains of it out, making his body a literal she'll of its former self, which is kinda weird to think about in hindsight. That's like trying to rip out a person's soul. But yeah, changes are, they left it out to have more room for introducing more new characters while keeping the old ones, instead of keeping all of them, likely due to CGI budget and a better catalog for general consumer products. This isn't just a Bayformers problem either, as this has been going on since the G1 movie despite not fitting the majority of the show, and they only caved in to bringing back Optimus Prime near the end because, well, he's Optimus Prime. Both him and Megaton always come back no matter what. Any other characters that was brought back in any other Japanese G1 sequels like with Prowl and Wheeljack were completely by mistake, the latter of which wasn't even supposed to die either and was a coloring mistake itself. Transformers is known for just, forgetting things, regardless of continuity. That's the unfortunate part of it being primarily marketed for toys instead of vice versa. Had they gotten a more established continuity with better movies like with the MCU, then stuff like this would've never been a problem.
I have no masterpiece as they are above and beyond my budget so that would be sweet to win. But your idea as to why they the matrix disappeared makes sense

Giant fan of transformers i grew up with them watching the movies and collecting them and they are a major part of my life im still waiting to get my hands on studio series shockwave
The reason why the matrix sadly isn’t a part of tf4 and 5 is because bay simply just doesn’t care about continuation, like a lot of characters just disappeared or just came back while they’re supposed to be dead, that is also the reason why I online like the first 3, I know that there a lot of continuation errors in the first 3 as well but after tf3 so much characters just disappeared without explanation that i wasn’t able to enjoy it anymore
“Has Bay and the writers wrote themselves into a corner? Or did they just simply forget?” The better question is (As cynical as it sounds...), “do they actually care about what they’re doing at that time?”
