This is a piece of chalcedony mixed with host rock that i found in the creek.
It has an unfortunate coiled shape, not unlike what a dog leaves behind.
it was quite dark from 'river rust'' staining accumulated over a long time, but cleaned up nicely to an almost solid chunk of yellowy/orange chalcedony.
