Transforming criminality in Nigeria's Niger Delta Region 

As part of our vision to build sustainable peace in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, in 2023, PIND Foundation partnered with the European Union and other consortium members Search for Common Ground, Stakeholder Democracy Network, and Academic Associate Peaceworks to implement a Community-Centered Approach to Transforming Criminality and Violence in the Niger Delta. This initiative promotes Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) in three states in the Niger Delta, benefiting 66 communities in Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers.
Since the project’s implementation, PIND and other consortium members have conducted early warning and early response training and capacity-building sessions for various community members, youth groups, women’s groups, and CSO groups. We continue to advocate for peaceful coexistence in the Niger Delta region and support the reporting of conflict incidents to PIND’s conflict tracker.
