I believe the solution to the rough edges when you cut the butcher block is to put tape where you are going to cut. Cut through the tape, it keeps the edges from fraying.
This person is the most underrated best room setup maker on the world. I was shocked he only had 8k subs. Come on, guys, get this guy to 1.000.000 subs he deserves it. Keep up the good work, man. u have earned yourself a sub.
I think you are both right haha, for me, I try to be as patient as possible, but also I set my own deadlines for things when it comes to video creation, only way to get it done. So I either rush it, or never finish at a certain point in the process

On cutting that butcher block... It will pull to the right if you don't have the blade 100% aligned with the plate. The smoking is because as you cut through, the wood will pinch the blade. The chipout you saw is because of the way a circular saw cuts. It cuts from bottom to top -- so if your nice side is face up, then you need to either (or both) .. masking tape down where you want to cut and/or use a thin piece of sacrificial board on top to help reduce it. (Table and mitre saws rotate the opposite direction, btw). Wonderful video and great build!
would place a piece of wooden panel against the wall screwed in to the studs so you can screw in the supports of your desk to alot stronger material as you already crushed the drywall it wil only continu to sink in to the wall those supports in the long run
Dude there was a black spot in the video and when I noticed it I thought something was wrong with my phone until the clip changed and I realized there was something on your camera lens -.- 💨 I just about had a heart attack
wait is your desk screwed into the drywall? hopefully you checked the wall for a wood beam cus drywall is not strong enough to hold or secure for that weight. love the setup tho
surprisingly no, not yet anyways, but they are usually off unless I'm home and on my computer. So max a couple hours a day because I mostly work in the office
Just watched all your videos and did a look into your start-up, I think your approach to tech mixed with some humor and vlogging is really cool and your professional work looks creative and purposeful, I hope you don't overwork yourself because I'd love to see more content from you in the future, best of luck on your future endeavors, keep it pushing.
lolll yea I was about to not censor it out but then I rewatched the video without my headphones to test the audio and it made my alexa go off multiple times which annoyed me 😂
why didnt u use some 2x4s cut on a angle to support the desk even more wud still make it seem like its floating and u can cut some gaps to installing some led strips into the 2x4.
thank you, and awesome! Yea white + black is difficult to achieve, there's a balance for sure. I've noticed that if you're not a minimalistic person (like myself), it's good to have an accent color or colors to complement the black and white. If you're minimal, then white and black with no accent colors looks better
Im zuper duper jealous now i want the build a space ship house that have everything you dream, gamer pc,gaming room, its a house that have 500 000 000 gaming rooms and 6000000 cities. Im the jealousest human on earth to have a gaming pc that and a gaming room that looks like a spaceship.
you're like so underrated like the video quality you deliver is sick, just one question....can i have that blender file please? im trying to make my setup in my room and i want to plan it, i could really use that as inspo❤
@mjjTech. bro im at 1:36 and im speechless. can we get a tutorial or a short video on how you made this in blender and how you got the objects in? i need this for my room. i want to make my own design as well. plss
Definitely make sure to reinforce the brackets in the wall with a bit more than just cardboard bro, that's only going to be a very temporary fix. I'd recommend getting a a wooden plate that you can screw into the studs, and then screw the brackets into that. It'll add more strength, it won't crush the drywall, and also helps with sound dampening.
Yea I was activating my own alexa while editing so it just made sense to censor it so that doesn't happen to others. Cause I be screaming at alexa to shut up whenever that happens
