Looking good G, personally dude just sell it make a nice profit and move on to the next project you’ve pretty much covered everything you possibly can with the N47 and it’s keeps the channel fresh and still makes awesome content, just a thought keep them coming dude 👍

Nice work on a lovely car George. I don’t know what it costs to refurbish a wheel in England. I get it done in New Mexico, USA for $150USD per wheel, and they look new. I’m still thinking you might get a BMW 2-seater for your next project, but that’s just me.

Look into a mewant steering wheel cover. It’s a leather cover you stitch on. I have the same car and did it to mine looks amazing. Literally like factory. Do some research. It’ll make a good video too !!

Your snow foam gun needs a service same as mine has limescale build up because we are in a hard water area means the foam is no where near as thick as it should be. As an aside I would say for cleaning the engine bay an apc would be as effective and need less product. Finally when cleaning the wheels use a wheel cleaner before you use a fallout remover. Fallout remover is really aggressive so I wouldn’t use that on each wash. I don’t want to pick apart but I have learnt stuff from you so would rather share what I know with detailing. Don’t do the bug and tar remover till after the two bucket wash. It should go jet wash, snow foam, jet wash, two bucket wash, jet wash, bug and tar remover then jet wash then fallout remover and jet wash again and dry. Then with the wheels jet wash wheel cleaner use the brush and clean them as you did then jet wash then fall out remover then jet wash. but as usual top job

Everyone has a different understanding of clean but this one really does not look too bad. Even the engine bay is not the worst one I’ve ever seen. The rusty bolts/ nuts look nasty though. The one thing I don’t get, what is with people curbing their wheels??

George believe it or not the finest tar remover known to man is Olive oil, we used it in the steelworks for removing thick tar (tar is a by-product of cooking Coal to make Coke for the furnace) from skin when protective clothing failed, It is like using soap to remove light dirt from your hands.

Is it true that you also polish the soles of your shoes? You are relentless in your cleaning efforts. By the way, I did buy that E38 750iL on Saturday. The driver's seat is like new after 25 years and 200k miles and only has a few very minor issues for me to deal with which are mainly cosmetic in nature, the main one being the original TV screen is not working, it just glows ... The other thing that is slightly troubling is that it has ATF in the PAS/SLS system instead of CHF11S. Not sure if I will change it though because it may upset the system if it is used to ATF.

@@GeorgeAusters Thanks but sadly yes, I am sure. "Use only CHF11S" is printed clearly on the top of the reservoir ... twice!. I guess someone here in Ukraine thought that meant ATF. The car is a mid 1996 car but the ATF looks pretty fresh. Asking the last owner on the phone was like asking him how to build a Space Shuttle ... he had no idea what we were talking about.

If it’s Sapphire Black I can recommend using poor boys dark glaze. I use this on mine and really brings out the flake in the sun.

Not really useful the two bucket method if you keep going from bottom to top, sure the car was pretty clean when you started but in generally.

@@GeorgeAusters in some clips you went from a lower part of the car to a higher part of the car, and lower part is usually more dirty so you introduce the dirt from the lower to the higher part. also you shouldnt go so much back and forth as you do, you usually want to swipe the panel with one sweep and then dunk in the bucket again.

If you only did 1 swipe of the panel before going back into the water, you’d be there for a very long time and go through an awful lot of water👍🏻
