I've learned that scrolling on social is a decompressor for me and I stopped making it a negative "bad" thing in my life and instead allow myself 30min to an hr at a scheduled part of my day to do it GUILT FREE.
especially once you’ve curated your feed to be uplifting, motivating or just stupid fun. its stops being doomscrolling when you get rid of everything that makes your feel doom
If that works for you, then that's great! It's important to realise on your journey to self-improvement that everyone has different wants and needs, and if you want to continue scrolling on social media but in a healthier way then that's just as valid as people who want to cut it out completely.
One thing that really helped me is to keep the bed and bedroom for sleep and s3x only. No screens ever go in there. It helps so much with evening and morning doom scrolling !
Personally I would suggest making your habit tracker in paper form. Why? Cause after all the wind down, getting calm and cozy in the evening, you are going back to blue screen laptop to check the habbit tracker. And to have a good sleeping hygene it is recommended to not use blue screen devices for like 1hour before sleeping 🤭 Plus its suuuuper easy to get hooked and procrastinate more since you are already on the laptop. And about journaling, from what Ive heard, it, again, would work better in paper form. There is something so primarily relaxing to our brain, to write down on paper. But yea, great video!! Good luck and cant wait for more!
"You choose the future, with your actions each day." It's 🔥 and so true Sums up your efforts and some of ours as we do it all for a better future and it's definitely what we do daily that determines that.💯
A habit taking 21 days to form is an old wives tale, a misguided psychological suggestion purported by a plastic surgeon in the 60’s who wrote books for housewives. Scientists in the early 2000’s found it can take anywhere from 18 to 254 days to form a habit completely, depending on the complexity of the habit. But the average of their studies found 66 days.
i was thinking. if it’s really hard to keep this habit your building and keep failing it’s more of an expectation than it is a habit. i close my blinds at night and open them in the morning without fail. that’s a habit.
@@merig1224 The study was conducted by Phillippa Lally at University College London and was published in the European Journal of Social Psychology! The study involved 96 participants over a 12-week period. It has since been peer reviewed, referenced, and built upon. Thanks for digging deeper! Happy studying!
@@lexyannhorton-mj7pb Habits are something done habitually, definitely! But the time of the habit being formed -- where it is not yet a habit, but still just an expectation -- is hard for everyone! But there is a definitive point in time where "the hump" is crossed, and the habit is now formed.
This is exactly the kind of motivation I needed! Your journey is so inspiring, and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds. Keep going, you’ve got this! 💪
If you work well at night though- wouldn’t it be better to be a productive night owl and still get up at a decent time like 8am? I used to try to do the 5am thing and then I realized I’m much happier not 😂 my nighttime routine of no phone/ social media starts at 930pm and lights out at 1130pm. The 7-9pm after dinner slot is where I get a lot done :) just a thought!
Loved the fact that you split the #3 Week Reset in #3 Phases! I actually got inspired to follow this method, too, for the tasks that I've been putting off. It legit seems less overwhelming of a process. THANK YOU for the motivation 🫂🩷
First video I ever watched on your channel. Body is teaaaaaa 🍵 you’re beautiful and productive and interesting. Definitely one of my new favorite RU-vidrs.
This was sooo relatable! 🥺🥺 And it motivated me to get myself out this rut! The materialistic reward is one thing i’m gonna incorporate 😂 i need a new laptop!
new sub!! 🥹 ive been back on track with the gym since I took almost a 2 week break 😩 but this vid gave me a bigger boost to keep being consistent ! thanks girly 💗
Also change brings out the anxiety in people because change gets you out of your comfort zone. Humans love to be comfortable even if it’s in a bad place. Read in the book The mountain is you.
The way you unlocked a memory for me when playing on your Nintendo 64, had to subscribe 💫 love the video and you got this! I’m also on this little journey
i don't know if am allowed to give my opinion on here, but ladies have the capability of achieving more in life than men that's why i am motivated more by Michaela.
I’m so obsessed with your bed frame and have been searching for something like that forever. Any chance you can tell me where you got it from? LOVE your channel sooo much🫶🫶🫶
Yesterday, I've deleted my channel which I used to watch (well, mostly scroll) brain rot. Little did I know, it would delete all my other channels too, but I've chosen to make new ones for productivity and French again. For now, I just want the dreaded brain rot gone. I don't want to completely scrap a way for me to be able to learn. Admittedly, that night, I was kinda wanting to go back to the memes and stuff, but I'm better than that. 💪 I've already been in this process with Reddit earlier this year, but with completely being off it.
Hi! I love the habit tracker! Some questions: Is it editable or is the purchase a paper tracker? Does it end Dec. ‘24 or will it go to July ‘25? Thanks!
Still watching but maybe swap your habits no phone for the first hour of your day or until you get to the gym. It’ll speed up your morning routine I promise! It’s less lagging from morning scrolling ANDDD girl my dietician told me it’s 3L of liquid. Fill your Stanley in the morning use some water from there for your morning vitamin drinks and stuff. If you drink tea or anything else like coffee that you use water with during the day dump out a bit of water from your water bottle. It’ll make it easier and make you realise your water/liquid intake only needs to be upped by a little bit and makes it more achievable
Aww ty!! I use a bunch that I made. Mainly the habit tracker and daily tasks that are in my notion templates. You can find most in the level up your life planner in the description :)
Hello Sir, I Visited your RU-vid channel and noticed it ranks lower than others. SEO seems to be lacking, though your content is fantastic. Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is insufficient SEO (your videos' SEO score is 35/100%, that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I also noticed that your video thumbnail was good. If you'd like, I can assist you with improving it. I think your RU-vid channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response.
