Welcome back to another episode of Game Change, in this episode we take a look at Skyrim Special Edition and see what changes we can make to turn it into a game of thrones style video game. In this skyrim game of thrones overhaul build ive tried to include some of the best game of thrones mods for PC and Xbox one.
After the unfortunate events with the skyrim game of thrones adaptation mod for pc and xbox one in 2019 ive tried to create a build that mimics some of the themes that mod would have brought. If anyone know of an older skyrim game of thrones adaptation mod download that still exists be sure to let me know and ill include it in the description

To fit in with a more Game of Thrones style of realism, I'd also recommend some armor replacer mods that fit stylistically with that GoT armor pack, like Guards Armor Replacer, NordWarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacer, New Legion, and Unplayable Faction Armor. Most of these also have Requiem patches available. Good vid though! I was looking for a reason to try both Holds and Requiem, as they're two of the biggest mods I haven't tried out yet.

Same, not only would it have made this video a lot easier on me, i was really looking forward to seeing what it could do. There is another (although very early) Large scale GOT worldspace and quest mod in the works named Skyros which i was invited to check out the discord after posting this video. Once thats closer to completion ill be sure to make another video on it :)

This video together with the one scene in the last season where Podrick sings and everyone’s supposed to share their last drink before death (we know how that turned out😞) are the most enjoyable and entertaining pieces of GOT content I’ve seen in a long time. Nice work!

Replace the storm locks with the starks and the dragons with the white walkers, and from a macro view the stories are pretty similar.

@@EasternStandardTim Sure, you could. In terms of people who only know the show the major houses basically only include the Starks, Targaryens, Lannisters, and for a little bit, the Tyrells. The creepy old fuck that commits the Red Wedding got more focus than the Martells, Arryns, or Greyjoys

It would be cool if you could overhaul the entire map into one giant city, since it's actually the same size as Los Santos in GTAV. And if not, just to have a more vertical city with lots of alleys and such somewhere on the map. Or even a "Skyrim if the Dwemer were still around" kinda thing where technology moved everything forward.

I would actually go through the effort to get the mods when it becomes possible to get mods that change everything. A few more Berserk mods have been popping up lately... and they are pretty good quality too. We've even got Guts Berserker Armour complete with settings that make you go berserk like guts in the Show.

I’m surprised that you didn’t include any Civil War overhauls or Become High King of Skyrim - Immersive Edition to the list, seeing how the struggle for power through warfare is a major theme in the GoT series. Though, it would be more fitting if there was a CW overhaul that added other playable factions or a way to create your own.

Wait Lord Harkon (Serana's father) actually tried to cause a Long Night. The theory is that if Harkon won and sacrificed his daughter by draining her blood the changes would be permanent and not last only a day... Huh so that is where D&D got their Long Night duration idea from.

Wish I could install Holds but it's incompatible with LOTDB and even if it wasn't it'd probably still kill my performance

So sad that game of thrones will just pass out of memory after a year or two, it could've been one of the greatest television shows of all time, but just like the modder who said fuck it and ran off with the money before finishing what he started, so too did D&D. I'm not even angry, just disappointed.

Chanson I hate to say it but they will.... television has a lot more popularity than books, most people know the highest grossing film was avatar but now endgame whereas the average person doesn’t know the best selling book of all time is, and tbh I don’t either.

roryhigsmit lol yeah but the bible isn’t really for entertainment purposes, I was trying to make a point that when it comes to entertainment, more people go to tv than books...
