Good video I have a question will the foxwell NT614 could program a swap Ecu . I been having trouble with the transmission not shifting staying in 3rd gear I change all the solenoids cuz it was reading bad solenoids so I ended up changing them all but same problem so I bought an ecu from a junkyard i wanna swapped it but will need to program it will this foxwell NT614 do the job ?
Hi its me car fault You need to short out 2 pins at obd Port for 30 minutes while ignition in run mode search on google you will found how to program immobilizer on old toyota
I have a 2013 nissan rogue, I just replaced the step motor on the valve body. Now the vehicle doesn't drive right. It barely has any umpph to move in reverse. It says online anytime you do work on the valve body you need to reset or reprogram the tcm and transmission. Will this work for it?
@@justtrue8228 my main question does this have transmission relearning software? I know some do and some don't. I heard this one has the transmission shifting relearn software in it. But when researching it I don't see that it does. I get mixed results online. The site itself doesn't give me much information. But I decided to go ahead and order one. I just gotta go pick it up later when I have access to our other vehicle.
Thanks for the video. I have a question though. It says "Requires road test to relearn values", does it mean we drive as usual after reset or is there any specific procedure for doing the road test after the memory reset?
Yes you need to drive in stop start pattern for example start driving untill all gears shift then stop then start over again also let gears shifting on different RPM'S on each start
@@CarFaults Thanks, this is only to test the transmission after the reset or it is necessary that this need to be done? What happens if I simply driving after the reset? Also how to let gears shifting on different RPM's on each start?
@@kclreddy if you drive simply ECU unable to relearn upshift and downshift ECU keep relearning for around 15 minutes. For shifting gears on different RPM'S let upshift around 1500 rpm by less accelerating then let around 2500 rpm so on
@@CarFaults I have a question. I had replaced the 1, 2, 3, and 4 shift selenoid, and the transmission control selenoid in the engine bay, but my car still shifts a bit late and the d4 light starts blinking after I try accelerating. I'm guessing maybe I need to reset my cars computer, do I need to have the transmission reprogrammed sense I replaced all the selenoids ?
@@justtrue8228 I have an accord 2000excoupe. Once I shift from park to reverse, you won't feel the car actually shift gears until like 2 seconds. So it'll slip then shift. When I switch from reverse to D4 D3 D2 or D1, the car doesn't really shift slow, it kinda catches it fast enough, but the thing is when I accelerate up to about 10mph or more then let go the gas pedal it feels like the car isn't upshifting for me and the transmission kind of makes a small small jerk, & the D4 light starts flashing with the check engine being brought up. This started happening after most of the transmission fluid spilled on the floor due to a bolt that I didn't tighten all the way. Of course I put more fluid in it, the red Volvo ATF one that's says its compatible for toyota and Honda vehicles. Just mind you, i havnt deleted any codes after replacing those parts. If you know anything about this it will help🙏🏼
@@BobiPhettOfficial don't waste more money on it you already need to replace this transmission or rebuild it if torque converter and oil pump in good condition
