Hello, I did a HT and I was NW2 and I will probably not lose hair anymore because my father is NW2 and grandpa was only NW1. Guys who are still losing hair and do not have a good donor area they should take pills but if you are lucky like I am you are safe with PRP treatments every 5-6 months.

Wouldn’t it be better to have a series of smaller transplants performed rather than a larger one? I would bet having 1000-1500 grafts per session would have a better outcome than 3000-4000. Why? Staff fatigue comes to mind. It seems like very delicate work that requires a lot of attention to detail.

Are there any good clinics in India?

I don’t get it. Is Finesteride essential or not after a hair transplant? What happens if I have my HT and don’t take Finesteride. Does my grafts fall out or not grow?

Sir i am just 19 years old and suffering from androgenic aloepecia. I am in a deep stress due to hair loss. I am using procapil from last 200 days and nearly all hair regions are growned better except forehead . My forehead hair line is still DAMAGEd ( can't gained significant hairs/ same as BEFORE )even after 7 months of strictly followed treatment. Can't i regain my frontal hair line ? Doctor prescribed me Redensyl and removed procapil from regime . Please tell me what should I do ?

Switching from oral fin to topical fin/min Switching from my 1 mg oral Finasteride to topical finasteride minoxidil combo from Hims just to minimize any chance of sides ( even though i have had no sides). I have noticed that the back of my head, the horseshoe pattern is starting to thin out. Do people apply topical finasteride to that back horseshoe area as well? Or is it only at the top of the scalp on top of your head? I can’t find any video or article mentioning rubbing topical in the back

Hi Mat , I have been on finesteride for almost a year now (1mg). Lately I research that 0.5mg has almost the same out put(effect) as the 1mg pills.also I have one day a week where I don’t take any drugs(thoughts on this)?

I think Simon's result are better than yours. His hairline looks more natural and denser.

Dont go Turkey. You got very good ones in Portugal and you pay 4000 and all is made by surgeons. Not like in Turkey . . .

I’m 24. Is finasteride worth trying? I don’t like what I’m reading about side effects. My dick is more important than my hair to me. Is regrowing the temples possible? I’m about a Norwood 2.5 with no crown balding, maybe slightly thinner hair than my teens but it’s still pretty thick. I only have complete hair loss at the temples. Crown balding doesn’t run in my family we just get these very high temples. My dad is 58 and has all his crown hair, just lost a lot of frontal hair.

This is going to end badly for him if no fin.

Hello! I live in Sweden and did a HT at Akacia medical about a year ago now. My experience is that they are a clinic which focuses more on volume than quality. They fly in the technicians for about 10 days a month and during that time they do 2 patients/day (I was the second patient the day i did it and had 3500 grafts done). As you said in the video temporal naturalness is definitely not their strong side as one side of my temples is very unnatural and the other side is decent but not good. But the most alarming thing with the clinic is that they lie to patients about the hairloss medication. On their website they have a column about finasteride which seems kinda neutral in stance but when you ask them in person they will always tell you that you don't need finasteride, instead they will tell you to come in twice a year and get prp which he says will stopp further hairloss. I also asked after the transplant if they could supply me with a prescription for finasteride and they told me that finasteride is on backorder all over the world right now (wtf?) and that i didn't need it anyway. Got a prescription a couple a days later from a online doctor anyways and to no surprise it was readily available. So that to me tells you a bit about their moral...
