love your green house is is very nice! I have just moved my chillis and peppers into new pots! I cant wait to get them in the ground tbh! but i knoe its a long old time!
Thank you! I have a few large pepper plants that need larger pots and trying to figure out how to move them without damaging them including the flowers and fruits.
I gently remove them from their current pot, and place them into a larger container. They are pretty resilient, so long as they are not bent or handled too aggressively they should transplant just fine.
I just found your channel but I'm having a hard time hearing you 😉but I'm trying. Nice to see you on . God bless 🙏 I can hear you now, the closer you get to the plants I can hear you better 😁😁
Sorry. I’m not a pro at this at all haven’t been planting for very long. What’s the next step after you seperated them and put into slightly bigger pots? When do you move them to a planter, Is this a journey of moving to a bigger pot as they grow ? Just subscribed. Thank you for your slow precise explaning
Don't be sorry, we all started somewhere. The next step we take is to all these transplants to grow a healthy root system in the 4" pots. From there, they are planted in the garden whenever the weather cooperates. I've kept some of these transplants in 4" pots for months, moved them to a 6" pot, and then finally transplanted them into the garden. But 99% of our seedlings go from sprout to 4" pot, then into its finally spot (garden, raised bed, etc.). I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any more questions.
@@nuttygnomehomestead thanks so much for your feedback. I’m much clear now on what to do. It’s a bit frosty some days where I am- south east Canada - so I’ll wait out until the end of this month to plant them. I’m considering moving them to 6” pots and then planter boxes if needed. Not confident on planting them in the ground yet don’t know what to do if it stays frosty some nights and I have planted them. Planter boxes I can bring inside my garage. Thank you again and have a great weekend
Hi! Thank you for sharing this info. Wondering why you pinch off the cotyledon leaves? You are the first RU-vidr I’ve seen do that. Do you only do it for peppers or all your seedlings? Thanks again. Happy growing!
After the plant has produced a couple sets of true leaves, the cotyledon leaves just suck nutrients from the plant. Once we have approximately 6 true leaves we pinch off the cotyledon leaves. We do this with all our plants.
I have some California Wonder seedlings that are about the same size as the ones in your video. Can they be planted in the ground at that size? I'm in zone 9b, and we're a few weeks *past* the last frost date here.
If you are past your last frost date, then they can be planted outside. We are still a month out from our last frost date unfortunately, so we have to wait.
Awesome! Blessings to everyone, if you haven't yet repented and accepted christ Jesus as your lord and savior, please do so before it's too late it's not God's will for none to perish. Acts 2vs 38 Romans 10 vs 13 John 3 vs 16
