You are one brave soul. But those Chevy trucks are tough, but would not try it with mine. I only use a minimun of 4 chains to sccure down heavy equipment and straps for bulk materials. Thanks for posting this video and stay safe.
Thanks for the comment and for watching! The trailer has mounted straps all over it and they were strapped all over the dozer in addition to chains. Luckily it was smooth transitions from driveway to asphalt to gravel!
Yes sir it wasn’t ideal. If there was a way I could have driven the dozer to my property I would have. We just trailered it to get over the asphalt. Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment sir!
Another example of the utterly stupid things posted on RU-vid. You put everyone on the road in danger doing this. No way that pickup has control of the massive weight on that trailer. I would expect the rear tires and suspension and truck frame on the truck are way past their load limit. This is the most danger post on RU-vid I have ever seen.
I'd like to see what the axle weight scales out at, guaranteed it's over limit. This is an accident and tickets waiting to happen. Just because it can be done doesn't make it a good idea.
you did a really great job of loading it, watching weight transfer on trailer. More or less balancing game of not overloading truck axle. But that truck will never be the same, just a tough ass work truck
