In this video I deconstruct a trap beat in Ableton Live, showing you how I layered each sound and used every plugin for the finished song. I used a few samples from Loopmasters on this track as well as a string sample by Beethoven. This trap beat features a vocal sample created using the Exhale plugin from Output. I show how I adjust the sound of each track using plugins by Izotope, Soundtoys, and Waves and mixed the entire thing. This beat is kinda hip hop, kinda trap, kinda trip hop. Whatever…I just like it.
