This is called eisegesis where people insert there own ideas in the Scriptures. I pray that you realize how many times he use Scriptures as a “foundation text” for his topic and then make it sound like whatever he wants. Go and look at his videos every he mentions Scriptures he quickly make it sounds like it’s talking about us. Just think a second, is this text talking about “being triggered”? @@aurelie1303 You’re reading WAY into this. ANY speaker cites a point of reference then spends their entire time making relevant points, even paraphrasing. Even if that wasn’t the case, Pastor Jerry teaches folks to study the Word *For Themselves* ALL the time. To some, He appointed teachers. I want folks to Quit LOOKING for ways to nitpick EVERY word spoken by any of the 5 Fold or anyone else in ministry for NO other purpose than to bash. 🙄🙄🙄Grow up! Touch not my anointed…

@@ajwriter5699 Firstly touch not “my annointed” in the biblical context simply means to not physically harm a king of Israel. As you can see I am not physically harming anybody. Studied this verse closely you will understand. So nobody is touching any annointed, nobody is physically harming anybody. Secondly every born again Christian is annointed because of the Annointed who is Christ or more specifically because a true Christian will be annointed as Holy Spirit is in us. (John 2:27). Jerry does not have a “special annointing” compared to other Christians. This unbiblical concept of being more annointed when holding a position that has more responsibility is brought up by the Charismatic Church. So there is nothing as such as being “highly annointed”. But if you were diligent in the study of the doctrines found in the Bible and the theology in the Bible you would have not come up with this “touch not my annointed” thing… so stop putting that pastor on a pedestal. The right word is to be “called” to do something in the Church. And thirdly, it is normal that your reaction is to protect because you like Jerry’s messages about self help, making affirmations, declaring (speaking into existence), “forgiving yourself” which not a teaching of Christ because ultimately only God forgives, pop psychology, new age solutions for your trauma in your Thursday therapy sessions, feel good therapy…ect Look for eisegesis this is where people take a bible text and insert their own ideas. Look closely and study how he misinterpreted Exodus 14 in his last Thursday therapy(unlearning tactics). According to Jerry Exodus 14 is an illustration which shows that Pharoah is our “bondage maker”. So now according to Jerry everybody needs to find their PHARAOH!! When actually according to God Exodus 14 is when our Lord ask Moses to go to Pharoah to let Israel out of Egypt. That’s it in general. But as usual Jerry managed to make it sound like he wants. If you think that this is just a silly thing, go and tell our God that people who just pick and choose a text to preach their topic by misinterpreting them is just a silly thing.
