I mean hey at least it didn't malfunction in a scary way and did any damage to your car. I went through a car wash not too far from me that malfunctioned very badly and put a huge dent in the back of my car nearly breaking out the rear window in the process. Managed to get that on video, (its on my channel if you want to see it for yourself.) Hope you managed to get the issue you had resolved! Great video!
I’m a car wash enthusiast (I run a review channel with over 1.5k) and to me it looks like they didn’t activate the wash to give you any wash package. These types are run by an attendant that has to press a button to activate your package. This is why sometimes at certain washes (Quick Quack is a good example) they will write numbers or letters on your windshield before you pull into the bay. Also braking like you said you would at the end wouldn’t do anything, this is a belt conveyor which is why you were still sent through the wash without getting any soaps or brushes. Regular conveyors have rollers that come up with the press of a button, those don’t activate unless the attendant presses that button. Nothing malfunctioned here, just simple user error for a lack of a better word.
This wash is fully automatic. Never anyone working here. You go to a machine and pay (or punch in code) then drive up and go through. Never had a person working and always has worked before and after. For some reason this time it just messed up (I did wait a little extra time before driving onto the moving belt. I wanted a little space between me and the car in front. I guess that somehow messed it up. I didn't wait very long either, you can see how far the car in front is).
@@earthling1984 Can you please send me the snow in West Texas? I have Jury Duty for the 28 of, February.. I don't feel like going. It was in the 80s last week. Now it's in the 40s. This weather is bipolar, I swear
I actually think I waited too long. Wanted the car in front of me to have some space. Usually, cars go through right after another. I like to go through alone when possible.
😢😮 I'll just say buddy. I think you need new wiper blades. Boy those don't look good. They didn't clean your windshield off when they went back and forth. Thank you.
Got new ones a few months back. I replace them every year or two, depending how they work. I keep up on all my cars maintenance. This Honda is now 16 years old, and has had the transmission fluid drained and filled every 35k miles since it was brand new. When is the last time you changed your transmission fluid?
@@earthling1984 thanks for the response back. I've made mistakes like that and then and then it was all right after. Thank you. Wish you good luck. I live up in the Northeast. The car wash I go to is freeway car wash. They did a nice good job on my car today. Thank you .
@@earthling1984 😀👍👍👍 That's good. Sounds like you've been driving that car for a long time. Honda makes a nice good car. I drove my mother's Toyota echo for almost 21 years. I had to get rid of it. Now I got a Camry. Very nice car. I like it a lot. Thank you. When my wiper blades go I see the edge starting to come away from the other part. That's when I replace them. Yeah they probably last a year or two depending on how much you use them and the weather and everything.
@@earthling1984 I'm watching another car wash video. It's a small pickup truck with a ladder on it. They should have never let him go with a ladder like that. Through that it said in the wording it's going to get stuck I guess. So it's going to cause a major problem with the car wash.
I actually waited a lot longer than the machine told me to. In this wash, cars actually are meant to go basically right after the other. I've gone to this wash for years and never an issue. And usually I'm a lot closer to the car in front of me.
@Hector Anguiano Been a bit preoccupied the last year too. Wife got diagnosed with cancer for 2nd time in 2022. She has big surgery coming up soon (already had months of chemo and treatments). We didn't do it putlic like last time though.
