@@pam1244 season 2 custom kitt! Now I remember. The Pennington Regional has been stollen. Your clue reminded me of the few episodes kitt was in dstolen. It was the scene where not only was kitt in disguise so was the woman who drove kitt on the side of the road.

Kitt has a sticky scanner relay. Anyone else notice the scanner bulb lit all the time when parked in the forest, behind the small bush?

Knight rider season 4 out of wood. In knight rider 1986 revision scenes. When Michael was running over the bumpy road then Michael push button of speech synthesis module. Michael says to kitt to scanner peel and Kitt say certainly Michael. Then Michael push button silent mode. When Michael step out of kitt black t top door. And Michael says to kitt zoom in camera and I'm going to closer look and Kitt push button aud/vid record.

I just realized how close the Speech synthesis module button was to Turbo boost. It was a miracle that Michael never once hit that instead of Turbo boost, rendering KITT speechless then proceeding to ram into the obstacle.

Funny thing is... Michael never has to really press the buttons at all, KITT can and has responded to voice commands only. Too bad HUDs didn't exist back in the 80s 😅

@@pam1244 yes, he could handle both manual and voice commands, but Michael never once passed up the opportunity to press the button too. I think he just enjoyed it. 😁

The silent mode button is ABOVE the turbo boost button. Has that always been there? I thought Turbo was at the top of the switch pod. Could be awkward if they go over another bump just as Michael tries to press silent mode.

I think the layout varies from episode to episode or time to time buttons never quite seem to be at the usual spots 😅
