TRASH!? Dark & Lovely Light Golden Blonde Hair Color Review 🗑🙄👎🏾😡 

It's lighter because you started at the root and the heat from your scalp makes the colour process faster. You should colour tip to root when dying it blonde

Love Dark and Lovely Dye, love that it never leaves my hair dry. I don’t know what they put in that conditioner that comes in the box but it’s amazing.

It was a user error your hair was in a previous braid style and your hair wasn’t properly combed through

Never had a problem with Dark n Lovely. You have to let that new growth process first/longer. When I’m re-dyeing my hair, I dye my roots first and put a plastic cap over it so it can help with dyeing. Then I dye my ends.

U may had waited too long to touchup ur roots, that happens when too much new growth and u bleaching it creates a dark band between the new growth and the previous color

I have used their older versions in the past and they worked amazing on dark hair. But when the changed it to go intense it didn't even lift my hair to a copper Color. So don't use go intense lines at all!!! But I did this golden blonde today and it lifted out my uneven tones and gave me a gorgeous light golden blonde. I would advise using 3 boxes to get a good saturation on your roots and then gently comb it through. Leave it on for 30 min. as they say and cover it with a plastic cap to heat the roots for a few more minutes. Wash then use a toning conditioner or purple conditioners to help even out brassy area's. I hope this helps. Also yes some products do become inactive from being on a self for too long. Some may have expiration dates some don't. But the Color was working just need to make sure you really soaked your roots with enough and let it warm-up with the cap on. 😊

I have the new one😍 and it does depends on your hair some people hair doesn’t take hair color with box dye I think you should Go to Sally beauty and get the Loriell hi left hair colors for black color hair that works really good and sometimes you might have to lighten your hair before you put on a light color because when your hair is black it takes a while to lighten it without bleaching

I tried dark and lovely brand and it doesnt work so good for me. It has an effect but not a superb one. Soooo maybe its cause I'm mixed.. but I'll stick to other stuff from now on

This was a YOU problem, not the company. I think it's unfair to trash talk a company because you didn't use the dye properly. You have thick hair, you probably needed 2 boxes. smh

I tried that kind too, with booster. Not only did my hair feel like straw, my scalp burned, and my forehead is discolored along the hair line. 😡

If you want blonde hair go to a beauty salon they will ask you how blonde would you like to be by showing you different blonde shades, I know because I made the same mistake only my hair had more red tones than yours they used a toner on my hair when I Left I was blonde

I agree this product sucks I have used lorel on my natural black hair and it takes really well. I used the hair color targeted to black women and it didn't take at all but on spots at my roots were it turned kinda red. The whole brand it trash a good haor color is lorel period.
