Truly knowledgeable hip hop heads know not a single one killed it more than the others. They ALL are legends each killing it equally in their own signature unique way. Eminem's signature is the aggression, double time witty multis, puns and entendres, Thought's is the grit, commanding mic presence and lyrical substance and Mos has the effortless cadence, timeless wisdom and rare ability to casually switch back and forth between English and Patois on the fly. Not a single one among the three can emulate the other two's styles. That's how you know they are all on equal footing and one of a kind. Flow is purely a matter of a opinion. They all rode the beat masterfully with equally flawless flows.
His funk flex freestyle is literally a level above anyone else whos ever spit a funk flex freestyle to this DAY...crazy, although on this particular shit Ems shit was most memorable he had the humor the punchlines the flow his shit was crazy
It's a fuckin shame too. I think BT has always been overlooked because he's a member of the Roots. He's like another instrument. Plus, even I'm guilty of it, when people think of The Roots, questlove is the first person that comes to mind. BT was notorious for not doing interviews. Quest was everywhere. With Mos, I honestly just chalk it up to he flat out doesn't put out a lot of music. If he put out more, the world would have more to love. But they both have the respect of all their peers. I saw BT getting interviewed not to long ago. The DJ/ host brought up how underrated he is. He said "I got the respect from everyone that matters. I don't care about the rest." Dude is mad humble.
@@zumptt he doesn't like the mainstream music tho and that's what makes him great. When interviewed about the upcoming Black starr album he talked about someone (don't remember who) telling them they needed 1 song on the album for the clubs, and he didn't like that and won't do it.
Mos Def-stylistic flow, gorgeous vocal tone & fluidity (I f’ing love Mos Def, my top five) Black Thought-literary intelligence, high level of lyrical skill Eminem-skill+insanity+lyrical brilliance+sick flow=he’s an alien 😂👏
For those that didn’t know, Mos freestyle was basically a shoutout to different blocks and locations in Brooklyn. They all represented properly on this jawn!!👊🏿
@@teelee4097 they were freestyling, just not off the dome. off the dome is when you come up with shit when they give you an word or idea to work around, or just a battle rap or some shit, 90% of the freestyles you see on radios and shit are already trained before hand, only part theyre freestyling is the flow and a way to ride the beat.
Bruno. You could call any song ever made a freestyle. Freestyle is off the dome. Doesn’t matter what the new generations try to change the definition to. It is off the dome period. If you write you write and can’t call it freestyle. Or else every song ever released can also be called freestyle
I can't rate them in order, they all killed it, the thing is that they killed it in their own way and have thwir signature sound. This is real rap/hip-hop 🔥🔥🔥
Schmixes The dude is just making money off Em and how is he even reviewing, talk about the damn punchlines and stop making that damn i’m about to shit face. “Trash or pass” fuck outa herr
EM, BLACK, & Mos, All In My Top 10 Real MC’s I Miss This Style Of Hip-Hop 🔥🔥🔥 And I Just Subscribed To Your Channel Bro Keep Them Bangers Coming BE BLESSED 💯💯
Man, to rate that freestyle as far as first through third is like trying to rate yellow peanut M&M's vs green peanut M&M's. They both 🔥🔥 🔥. All the of them KILT...yeah, I said KILT that freestyle. In their own way tho.
@@bokhejtidisi4851 lol bruh, you already responded with this point on another comment. No need to check me everywhere. I got it, i thought that was the case.
@MrThuglife404 nah, his was dope but he wasn’t saying anything crazy or really going in like that. Eminem went in here and ate off this beat. Acting all cool and flowing and making it look effortless is cool and all and i know Thought did more than just that... but whoever grabs the most attention and says the craziest shit and goes in the most tends to make for the better cypher verse and you don’t got to keep to a central idea here necessarily, a song is different but cypher does not need to be and shouldn’t be short story time if you ask me. Its where you just spit and let loose.
@@Bizeecentral Eminem had way more cringy bars than Thought my friend... YOU CAN'T OUTRAP THOUGHT WITH LYRICS ABOUT CHIUAUA,DICKS AND TAYLOR SWIFT HAHAHAHHA
There's a reason Mos went first, then Thought, then Em. What's understood doesn't need to be said. Mos and Thought are two of the greatest ever and Em is THE GREATEST ever.
@@thsu8 Em is not the greatest hahahahahah and Thought outrapped him here... Em had too many cringy lines....PS Thought, Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Nas, Kool G Rap, MF DOOM, etc>>>Eminem
@@thsu8 Eminem is easily the most famous, recognizable and mainstream. The headliner is not always the best they are usually the most popular. Most people watched this Cypher to see Eminem so of course if you want people to sit through the whole thing you make him go last. That does not mean he's the best lyrically. It's all opinion based but many people would take Black Thought rap style over Eminem as Eminem is a wordsmith but Black Thought has more substance and is a word Smith as well. Who's better as a lyricist can go either way.
LISTEN TO THIS MAN ABOVE ME!!.....be sure you have time to digest what happens in that freestyle...it is hands down, the best freestyle of all-time. No debate.
Like a dope fiend Opening up a bottle of dopamine, you’re just hoping He don’t get rope for your throat to choke anything Oh and just think how dope he could be if he smoked anything 💯💯
Heyyyyy. I just realized Black Thoughts, “Here’s Johnny” line! Johnny Carson, a hugely famous late night host. And “The Shining’s,” Hereeeeeeeeeee’s Johnny! That is wild, man.
I love all three of these artists and have for decades. They are in my top 10 always. Play their music constantly. Some of my favorite artists all time. And each of them were nasty in their own ways and have their own sway, but equally brilliant geniuses in their own right. Aaaaaa....I can't. I Can't rank them. You need a tie option cause my vote is TIE😁.
When you study his art..I remember em said he loved drawing comics. His bars follow through like a comic book when you listen. The inner conversation. Hyperbole...visual imagery... woth wordplay and wordsmithing makes him just suoer unique
Only just found your channel but yeh that was a real reaction to one of the dopest cyphers in the past 20 years before that where it started with wu tang set the game these rappers that's why hip hop never dies because you can just go back to 1997 wack that wu tang on then fast forward to the 21st century with this 😎😎😎🙏
A lot of people want to try to knock Em down a little on the posts of the video. Saying he ain't talking about nothing. He just ain't talking about something they can relate to. Em is speaking. You just gotta listen. That and the flow and wordplay. Mos Def and Black Thought killed it too, but Eminem is just that dude.
Straight up bro can we please get a 2cellos video or 3 in here. Like straight up you will love it and if you want something truly unique and outside the box this is straight up someone you need to check out. And I honestly can't wait to see your reaction
@@ronaldhonore1452 what are you talking about?? Considering the next bars, the cadence and the scheme was crazy. Oh and just think how dope he could be if he smoked anything.. Not a bad word can be said for this whole cypher
@@anshumaanthakur7206 I don't understand rap? That line Eminem said was easy to think of. I'm not impressed by that bar. You Eminem stans like to thinks rap rotates around Eminem only.
Best freestyles I've heard in years bro killin it...straight fire all three. 1. Eminem 2. Black thought 3. Mos Def. All 3 straight fire bro. I wish they had Royce da 5'9 too. We need to bring back Nick Cannon and his crew and then Eminem and these two and see how many times Nick and his battle wackers get shredded into microscopic pieces then in the end Nick needs to hand the keys over to Eminem to Wild N' Out make him the guest in hip hop on his own show then cancel the program right after Eminem shreds him on live TV so the last thing everyone remembers seeing is Nick being carried off in a Rumpke truck to the dump.
