I have always loved Hopsin. He can be corny at times, but his music is just fun to bump and his lyrics have matured over the years on his more serious type songs. Wish he got more support. Glad NF is making a song with him.
I thought I’d post this to anyone discrediting hop in any form. lets just all remember that we can’t throw our opinions at each other in such a “factual” way. We have to watch how we word our opinions tbh. That’s the first step to getting somewhere in a meaningful conversation about such a topic. Some people like his “corny music” because that’s their type of humor or personality. Others don’t like it because they are used to/prefer something different. The consistency in his topics he talks about is no different from most artist consistently talking about drugs, bitches and bands. That’s repetitive as well. The thing is, hop does it in such a distinct way and that’s why people like him.

He's in Thailand. Also he's a straight up marketing genius too. Not saying he did what he's doing as a marketing ploy. But it's DEFINITELY working to his advantage. He left fans wondering if he was retiring for months, then starts dropping teasers, next an album, then probably a tour that he's going to straight up BANK from. Hopsin is probably about to blow up on a whole new level, and congrats to him for it too. It's not often you see an artist say, "I need to take a big f-ing step back and get myself right." He's a huge inspection to rap fans in a really great way and we need more rappers like him out there.
