In this clip I discuss a "death by a 1000 cuts" scenario for garbage companies. It largely revolves small inefficiencies on the route that turns seconds into hours and adds $1000s to operating costs.
A well routed, smooth and consistent route is the end goal. That is built by establishing policies that are communicated and customers understand.
The notion of "hustle" and "grind" is great to get established, but over time and years, it can burn out staff and makes selling more appealing.
