I don't know what's wrong with Nick, and I don't know how to fix it, but I hope and pray he gets better for those five kids. What we want him to be doesn't matter. They just want a dad.
Yesterday was a clear sign that everything is not okay in the Whiskeyman's Land. He used to have impulse control, but now, when someone in the chat says, "Take another drink," he does so even if he's tossed real good. What's sad is that most of his chat has turned on him. I hope Nick gets better.

I was briefly subscribed to both Nerdrodic ans Az a few years ago when they had the original BBC show which stood for "Bagging and Boarding Comics." In those episodes they would discuss the comic book collections as they rebagged comics. I believe EVS was on one of the episodes where they did comics. Gary and Az abandoned that fornat some time ago for the current format
@39:42 a lot of people don't know what rock bottom is. Everyone's is different. One person's rock bottom might be getting plastered on stream and cranking your hog. Someone else's might be 6ft under. I hope Nick wants to get help, and the people close to him care to help him see the reasons he should want it.

I had an Uncle 20 years ago - his Life was a Liquid diet. I forget what he did eat but it was more of a snack item vs a healthy meal. He passed away. I know he was less than 40 years old. Another friend was an alcoholic, I blew up at him one day because he was a turd irl always drunk and angry. His family needed him. He sobered up by going to a clinic. Went to AA for years. But when his marriage fell apart he drank again. He ended dying from Cancer + trying to beat Covid. This wont be easy, but we are pulling for ya Nick

@tabithalarue I haven't kept up all the drama with all the parties involved, but from my understanding... her name is April Imholte. She was married to someone names Aaron Imholte. Supposedly them and Nick and his wife were friends at one point. All that is true so far. Now the following I'm not 100% sure on and I've seen both sides but none provided a legitimate piece of evidence. Supposedly Nick and April hooked up at one point and Nick and his wife are swinger's. April and her husband split and now she's staying (been staying) at Nick's place for a while now. I think he even was her lawyer for a traffic violation. You can clearly here her voice in the stream while Nick was wankiing also 🤷♂️
He started going downhill during or shortly after Depp trial. I unsubed last year. I just couldn't watch anymore. I hope he and his wife recover and take good care of their five children.
Really hope Nick gets the help he needs... I was in the mindset that people were just concern trolling him but after the clips I saw of him he clearly does have a problem. Sad to see him like this too as someone who's warched him for a good while... I stopped watching recently when he started giving more attention to trolls in the chat. I remember him buying a ton of comics when he first got friendly with Nerdrotic. They used to do board and bagging streams. I'm not sure if he always collected before that, though. It actually wasn't a cringe stream back then. It was before Az mutated into that loud cringe arsehole he is today.
Sometimes Ethan goes from “good point” to “being petty because I hate this person” and pointing out that Rippa and Az are “fake comic fans” based on what merchandise they put on their wall is the latter.

Tales of GI Joe were just reprints of the original Marvel run, reissued about a decade later but with “Tales of”clumsily tacked onto the original covers. Exactly like those “Classic X-Men” reissues the late 80s. Who the hell gets a reprint CGC’ed?! SMH.

I think he might have been on your stream to talk about Vic Mignogna, and then it was either him or Raz0rfist that I first discovered FNT, which got me to Chrissie Mayr, who I found people like Nina Infinity, Gothix, Brittany Venti..possibly Savanah Hernandez (I might have already known about her before...she's amazing!) I stopped listening because it appeared like he wasn't doing so well, and I've been praying for his family in my daily Rosary. There's been addiction in my life, and I've been praying every single day asking for Jesus' help through the intercession of saints. Been praying to Jesus for people in my life through the intercession of St. Mark Ji Tianxiang (a saint who struggled with drug addiction); St. Mary of Egypt (a sex addict turned saint); and St. Jude for help from our Lord Jesus for those struggling with addiction. Az is chatting shit, there's plenty of comic shops around, it's one of the few family run businesses that are still going in our small towns due to geek culture being popular right now, theres at least 3 within an hours drive near me and I live in a tiny town no where near the big cities, and If Az is only an hour away from Leeds then he's near quite a few of our bigger towns.
EVS you are one of my favorite artists ever. Next to Zack you are one of the most important voices in commenting in the industry but there is also no denying your ability to backstab and turn on your friends. its gotten sickening and why i stopped watching you for the most part. hope Cyberfrog does well as i said you are still an important voice but you are also a real antagonist in this space

It's crazy how much the audience blew up about last FNT. I think it was literally just the prudes and incels comment. Sure, I get why incel is insulting, but she was right in context besides the use of that one word, and overall she was a great guest. She was on another time maybe a couple months ago to pimp her documentary on Akira and she was great then too. I'm gonna check out more of her stuff.
Of course there are incels in that collective audience. The woman of FNT are proud Bimbos, after all. Still a bore for a guest, who got the bare minimum right and was just as fake as many of their guests.

For all the roasting that happens on this show it surprised me how sensitive the chat were when it was their turn.
@@badnewsjp I get being mad a Gavin. It's pretty clear his purpose was to deliberately antagonize them. He had no interest in engaging in the discussion and was really just there to be an asshole and disrupt the show. And he could very well have gotten the show in trouble with youtube if the content filter algorithm had realized he pulled his dick out, but it was small enough for the algorithm not to notice.
No offense but i don't see any value in comic book shops existing. I think wholesaling and online stores are your best option when it comes to purchasing a niche item like comic books. I'm from the UK and the only place i could potentially visit locally to purchase comic issues is a newsagent and the options are few and far between. I think online stores are the future. I think these 'mom and pop' stores need to start forwarding their items online for domestic and international shipping.

There is nothing worse than a recovered alcoholic. These figs will look at everyone who drinks as going through some kind of imaginary troubles. A friend of mine’s dog was stolen by her concerned family when she was being treated for alcoholism and gave it away. Not everyone reacts to substances the same as everyone else. Anyone who treats them all the same is a massive fig and needs the catapult.
