This was one of the first mods I did for my 2023 street bob. Not an easy installation because of bolt access though but doable like you say. Its a fairly expensive part but it is well made and so far I havnt detected any oil on my air filter.

I probably should have when I upgraded the exhaust on my Street Bob to have it out of the way.... Did you have to remove your exhaust?

@@WeRide2 I installed the trask unit with the exhaust off. I was changing out the stock exhaust anyway. I think you could still put it on with the exhaust on the bike. Take off a heat shield and any other small stuff in the way.

I've installed it and routed the hose to the right-side cover just as they said and exactly how you did it. But a few months later I noticed lots of oil fumes under the right-side cover. Does it affect the CheckM8 performance if you reroute the hose to the bottom next the bike lower frame?

I think higher is better so you have gravity on your side. I've seen it routed up and between the cylinder heads as well. Check your oil levels to see if it's over filled.

@@WeRide2 I make sure oil is always 2-3 notches less than full. Also I think the nibble has a valve so oil doesn’t go back. I would rather the fumes go below the frame that’s all.

Routed to left side next to transmission shifter rode. Looks good and any extra fumes will escape to bottom next to left side of lower frame. I’ll try to send pictures.
