Just imagine someone with an expression like this :| after being told they have cancer and then the doctor asks why they’re dancing and they say “I may have a life threatening illness but this song is shmovin tho”
This game is anything but gentle You'll go from grooving to this to "hey so this guy has like super cancer in his heart and also a big spider in it, you have to kill it, here use this laser and your scalpel"
I'm currently playing the first UtK (so not UtK2, so no this song) but... yeah. I don't think a game has ever stressed me out this much, and I play rhythm games. UPDATE: I now physically own the entire series, minus trauma team.
@@sorikun2059 No no! I must've said it wrong my bad! I didn't mean it like I was a part of the team, more or less putting myself in the shoes of the members of that team lol!
@@XMANIAFLYYY The fad was the concept, or the style of video you'd made. IE, "X happens while I play unfitting music". If anything they were closer to the definition of memes than what we have now, which has pretty much morphed into meaning "funny stuff"
Trauma Center isn't actually a horror game, it's a surgery simulator game . Although the title does give off horror-vibes so i can see why you may think that
I remember playing this series before I even realized that this is where the song came from. When I got to this game, and when this music started playing, it was a trippy surprise for sure
Atlus makes a ton of wonderous game series', but has to unfortunately drop them off eventually. One that I miss a lot is the ChoroQ series. Could be licensing issues that stopped development of further games, but I just want more car RPG (carpg) games with heavy topics in them.
@Hevy Also Atlus is apparently good at not making their ds music sound like compressed shit. Just listen to Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey's ost, it barely sounds like something that could come out of the ds.
@@Hevymin No one rips soundtracks by recording them through the speakers to begin with. Even a direct rip will usually have an indication that the instrument samples were compressed.
@@DaVince21 I know but it’s often very easy to point out DS music as the sounds used sound very strange even when properly ripped. I’m basically saying atlus did an incredible job at hiding that DS sound with their instrument choices. Compare this music to the Pokémon games and you’ll see what I mean.
I actually gasped when I saw this in my recommended, I completely forgot that this series existed even though it was such a big part of my later childhood.

To be honest with you I was doing fine for the first 30 minutes, I removed multiple fractures and foreign objects but as fatigue set in I accidentally touched the sides and the patient's nose illuminated and he made a buzzing sound even though he was under heavy anaesthetic. I knew that my career was over there and then. Edit: I got this from here www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/eb7vjy/surgeons_of_reddit_what_was_your_first_surgery_on/fb2wx0b?
After all this time, my journey for one legendary song comes to a close. I've been hearing this song on and off for about six years, and my grand odyssey has met it's destination. Russmarrs2, if you're out there, we miss you!
@@coydog7902 He is a RU-vidr who us famously known for his RoSQG (Rise of SqueeGee) series, I watched him when he was new to RU-vid. Idk what happened to him. But he was a classic to watch. His latest video seems to be uploaded over a month ago. I'm not sure if he's dead but I will research him further and see what I come up with.
I love how some default tune from an old obscure game will suddenly catch on through memes and shitposts and now it's everywhere similar to Earthbound music earlier this year.
Let's all remember that this game is set in the year 2021, three years after the events of the first trauma center game. This year, we can finally feel the gentle breeze
Thank you randomly generated RU-vid music playlist for telling me what this song is called/from after so many years of me never bothering to look it up
I have never seen an atlus game with bad or mediocre soundtrack. The Etrian Odyssey series, especially the newer titles are the perfect example for that tbh.
I can't tell you how much this song, despite my having never played the game it's in, has changed my life. I discovered it randomly, but this song was one of many that helped get me through one of the roughest periods of my life.
Saw that in my recommended, a random Trauma center video with 3 millions views Thinking "okay, what meme music is it that time?" Really wasn't expecting to finally find the origin of a music I've heard so many time without knowing where it's from
I FINALLY FOUND IT. AFTER A DECADE. WHAT A WAY TO END THE DECADE AND THE YEAR! Edit: I randomly came back to find people actually saw this comment wtf. Bruh this was the last good thing before 2020
I got this in my recommended and I decided to just play it cuz why not. I set my phone down and looked away and then immediately did a double take once the video actually played and I heard the music lol
literally just had this convo with my bf. he was talking about it in the otger room to our roommate and i was like "oh yeah! that game has a meme song in it" and he was like what? i showed him theeme and he said he never heard the song before. i was like HOW DID U PLAY THIS AND NEVER HEAR IT!?
This the kind of music that plays in the background when either you or your friend say something so horrendous it could land you both in prison for life with no parole, so all you two can do is just stare at each other
