I attempted suicide 3 months go because of physical pain. I have done the full TRE exercises and didn’t experience so much shaking, my legs, arm, neck and finally head were shaking like crazy. I am so grateful to you. I did 20 mins on the rebounder first. This with Somantic therapy, sound therapy and God, are getting me through the worst time of my life. Thank you again 🌸

I hold a lot of tension in my sternum, around to ribs on both sides, completely around to my upper shoulders. Can you do a TRE session showing how to target those particular areas. Is there any way I could work with you or another provider through an online session? I did email David Bercelli and he referred me to a provider closer to the area I live (WV), but the phone # was no longer working, so I am trying to find a provider to help me possibly work through my particular areas of tension.

You can try shrugging your shoulders toward the ceiling and hold for a few seconds then release (4-6 times). This can, sometimes, encourage the shaking to move up into this area of the body.

Hi, just checking, could a same sort of reaction / process be possible after having sex? Sometimes I end up with the same sort of shaking legs (or others parts of the body), also feeling like a stress / trauma release...... 🪷🙏
@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 3 месяца назад
Yes! Trembling after sex and/or orgasm may be a way for the system to release an “overload” from the stimulation of sex and orgasm. It could also mean that you felt relaxed enough to allow the tremor response or that you fatigued specific muscles enough to start shaking. Nothing wrong with allowing it to happen as long as it feels safe and comfortable.

Its a great practice, I just have a question, what if after the shaking some bad emotions are coming up, helplessness or fear? What to do?
@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 2 месяца назад
Did you have any of those feelings while you were shaking? My suggestions to shake for a shorter period of time. A few minutes to start and see if that helps. The key is to only shake if you feel comfortable and safe. Otherwise it’s time to stop and rest. Working with a practitioner is also helpful initially. I offer a very affordable online, group class once a month…. only $9. The next one will be August 2nd, 9-10:30 / Arizona time.

I had to come back and tell you. I didn’t shake that much. I didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t understand when she said prepare. I puked in the middle of the night and in the morning. I don’t know if this has to do with anything. But next couple days I started crying. I feel a lot better. Thank you.

I hope you’re feeling better now. It sounds like shaking for a very short time (5 minutes or less) is how you should approach this practice, at least as you are starting out. Also, give yourself permission to stop if you feel uncomfortable at any point. It also might be helpful to work with a practitioner at first. You can visit my website for a more in depth explanation. Also, I do offer an online group class of this once a month if you would like a little more guidance. The next one is May 13th, 9am MST. I am so shocked… I’m literally stunned. At first I thought it was only muscle fatigue and then I placed my feet flat onto my yoga matt, with a timer set. At first I started to feel sleepy, and then I started to feel nauseous and slightly paranoid. I had to stop because I realized this was actually working. I just went to go get ready for bed and I have two hives on my forehead. Wow… I am so shocked. Only 6 mins top. Thank you? I’m thinking this is good for me?

@RadiantResilience 2 года назад
You did exactly the correct thing - stopping when it felt uncomfortable. You might want to give yourself a day or two and try again. 20 minutes or LESS shaking and stop if you feel uncomfortable. Self-regulation is an important component in this practice. I will be leading an online group class on May 13, 2022 at 9am MST. I have dissociative ptsd and i started going to my body in 2023, affirming to myself that I am safe now my whole body shakes so much, it has been shaking from 3 months now, when will it be normal?
@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 8 месяцев назад
💕 Everyone’s journey is different. Do you mean you never stop shaking or that you’ve been doing a shaking practice for 3 months? If you mean the latter, make sure you are only shaking as long as you feel comfortable and present in your body. Stop at the first inkling of feeling uncomfortable or the first sign of moving into dissociation. This will let your system realize it is safe and help you learn self-regulation. Shake for shorter periods of time (5 minutes or less) with a day or 2 in between for integration. You might benefit from working with someone, one on one for a while. I can do that or you can find other certified practitioners here - traumaprevention.com/tre-provider-list/

I feel like this only works for me sometimes, not always. The first time I did I had become so much more heavy and tired, relaxed, sleepy afterwards. Never seemed to have that effect again which makes me wonder if I’m doing it wrong. It seems the tremors tend to change/activate depending upon whether or not I’m putting my attention on that body part, which makes me think I may be doing it consciously/forcing it. Any thoughts on what I could do to make sure they’re actually getting activated and I’m not making it happen myself?
@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 4 месяца назад
Every session can be different and, absolutely, bringing your attention to a body part can bring vibration into that place. I am curious if you are doing any type of fatiguing activity prior to doing the activation sequence. As mentioned in the video, usually, at least at first, there needs to be a yoga practice or some exercises that will fatigue the legs before going into the activation sequence. You are welcome to sign up for my monthly, online group class, book a one-on-one session or schedule a 15 minute consult through my website. www.radiantresilience.com

@@RadiantResilience I do the 7 exercises now before the activation sequence, although the first time I did it,it was just your video, nothing else, which was quite effective like I mentioned. Its reassuring to hear that bringing your attention does bring vibration into that body part, as I’d thought earlier that meant I’m making it happen/forcing it. Thank you for your response. I am also experiencing slight tremors flaring up the rest of the time. Is this normal? I noticed my body never released tension again quite like it did the first time. I still wonder if that also means I’m doing something wrong.
@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 4 месяца назад
@@raginichaudhary4789 It is normal to experience tireness, emotional fatigue or more shaking in the 24-36 hours after a Tremoring session. Make sure you are giving yourself time to rest and integrate between Tremoring sessions. Each session will be unique and your body/system will only unwind what it is ready to release. It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong but it would be helpful to schedule a session where I could lead you through the whole process and answer any questions that arise.

That was crazy. I thought it was just muscle fatigue at first, but it was very similar to the shaking I've had when I am scared. How many times a week do you recommend it? Is it especially good to do this on days when you have been stressed? Thanks!
@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 2 года назад
Yes! It’s the same type of shaking to release tension as when you are scared except in a safe controlled environment. Start out with 2-3 times per week (giving time in between sessions for integration) and shake no longer than 20 minutes at a time (often less can be enough). If you feel at all uncomfortable, come out of it to be done or take a break. After doing this for a while you’ll get a feel for what your system needs (how often and how long). You’ll find that your body will want to shake when you’ve been stressed (if you allow it).

@RadiantResilience
@RadiantResilience 3 года назад
Not being able to see you it is hard to know for sure. You might need to do some activity before the activation sequence to get your legs a little more fatigued. I know the first time I did this practice I kept questioning whether I was making the shaking happen too! Also, everyone's tremoring will look different and the movement may be different from session to session. It can be big movements, very subtle vibration, rocking or swishing. You've had your entire life knowing how to suppress this mechanism and that ability will not leave you so, yes, you can easily make it stop. You can try again, as long as it's comfortable. It becomes much easier to access the tremoring over time... your body will know what to do when you give it permission to release. Let me know if you would like to book a session where I can offer more guidance or you could join my online group class that this coming up on September 3rd - radiantresilience.com

I am so glad you find it helpful. At this point I don’t think there have been any studies regarding pregnancy or any incidents where it has been found to be harmful. I was told that if it is already something to do then it is fine to continue as long as it’s comfortable. If, however, your movements are very large and jerky it might be too much. I have heard of women reporting this practice to be helpful during labor and delivery too. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’ll let you know if I can find any more info for you as well.
